I think it is the right thing to do. Although it is terrible that they are turning down treatment because they don't want to spread radiation, it is better than accepting people with radiation and having them spread it to the other people in that shelter/hospital.

 

Sucks to be exposed and left neglected for something that wasn't even your fault.

 

It's terrible. People have no choice over it and it's a shame that they would stop caring for those that are suffering worse from the tragedy.

 

Not there fault, natural disaster can not be stopped, therefore they should not refuse any shelter etc to the people who have had to suffer.

 

It's the Japanese governments fault.

After Chernobyl I'm sure we all know the vital importance of the cooling systems, and the immeasurable effect of Nuclear radiation being exposed into our atmosphere.

You would think that they would prepare for the worst. Japan being an earthquake prone zone, and tsunamis are a result of such disasters you would imagine they'd plan for the worst.

Another thing that made me feel remorseless for the government itself is that they let the workers walk through the radioactive plagued waters without any protective clothing. They might as well of walked through hot coals cause they definitely got some form of radiation burning.



Another thing, many of you may not know Japan has a sort of policy, from memory it goes like this. In the event of a natural disaster you are responsible for yourself in the first week. The government is not responsible for food/water/shelter. This is policy and the norm in Japan in such events.
