Is transferring wealth between accounts you own against the rules?

Do you guys think it's against the rules? I'm not too sure about it....

I know some famous youtubers have openly done it, hell, everybody does it. But some people disagree with this, and what is Jagex' stand?

 

I think it is not against the rules for your own accounts but is if you transfer to other accs for $ or somthing.
If it is against the rules then no chance of getting any sort of ban everyone has done this forever (except for the dark period of rs)

 

I believe it is, technically.

I've done it safely numerous times though.

 

I revealed that I did this to somebody, and he just logged out.... I presume he reported me for something and decided to block me. Seriously though, how else would I have claws? I'm sure every pure does this, I've seen other pures openly say they transfer their wealth like robin hood hats, dark bows etc. from their mains since free trade.

 

It is technically against the rules to do this since multi logging is against the rules.

But there is no possible way they can ban you if you do it on two computers because technically you arent breaking any rules since you arent multi logging on the same computer.

 

Jagex don't really care, I have dropped 150m in the middle of the GE and simply picked it up on another account.

Free trade just means that the trade limit is removed. Not that you are allowed to multi-log in on the same computer and trade money from one account to the other. That is breaking their rules.

Although, recently they haven't care much about multi-log trading due to the severe increase in bots, I would still be careful. I have heard that people get banned for trading large amounts in between their accounts.

No, you may not use third-party software to gain an unfair advantage - see macroing and use of bots or third-party software.

3. I have two accounts. Can my friend play one so I can trade between the characters?
No, this goes against this rule. You are not allowed to trade between two characters owned by one player. You would also be in breach of the Account Sharing/Trading rule.

4. Can I give items to another player from one of my accounts, so that they can then give the items to another character that I play?
No, this goes against the rule. You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way.

Maybe just read the RuneScape rules? It took me like 10 seconds to find that...

 

yes i suppose, but you wont ever be caught for it.

 

It's against the rules but you don't really get banned for it. Don't worry too much about it.

Yes it's against the rules.
Isn't botting? Lol. Nothing will happen, it's almost as unnoticeable as multi-logging.

 

I multi-log and trade/drop at the GE every day.. this is a rule which isn't enforced by Jagex, they have more important stuff to worry about. Obviously trading bills over isn't a wise idea.

 

Yeah - it's always been against the rules. Your accounts should not interact with each other, but who actually follows the rules?

 

Rs's "rules" are just guidelines to me. Do what you want. They're idiots.
