[Quoted x]

Hello guys...

I was wondering if he can have a Quoted button that would be at the top of the forum if we get quoted in a post. It could be located on the same bar the other tools are located. I ask this because at this other forum I go to we have it and it makes it easy to respond to post who quoted us.

That's why you get more people who may actually like the quoted button. It'll make finded post that's quoted a lot faster, and you'll be able to reply on the fly.

 

I think I know what you mean, it's where you quote someone who quoted you and you get to see them sort of overlap?

I've had this in another forum, a quote pyramid of 400 replies formed.
It took me 10 minutes to load the page.

 

He means a way to find who has quoted your posts.

It's been suggested before and it unfortunately can't be implented as the current vBulletin version does not support this, and I don't think the version will be updated anytime soon.

 

Can't you just go Ctrl + F then their username?
Granted it only works for each page in a thread but still.

 

You post on 20 different threads. 15 of those threads someone quoted you. 5 of those threads have over 20 pages. Trying to find everyone who quoted you would be like pulling teeth using your method, granted you don't know the username who quoted you nor the threads which you were quoted.

@ the other dude. I understand, the forum I was with was private code. It would've been a great addiction though.

I support this, but probably not possible.
