Best way to 99 prayer (cost-time wise)?

Hey all.

Just wondering what would be better for 99 prayer; big bones or dragon bones?

Here is some information that I worked out (NOTE: This is using ecto xp)

Amount for 99
Dragon Bones: 44,642
Big Bones: 214,276
Cost for 99
Dragon Bones: 272,491,843gp
Big Bones: 122,994,137gp

I also worked out that Big Bones will take approximately 4.8x longer than dragon bones for 99 and that dragon bones cost approximately 2.2x more than big bones for 99.

So based on this information, what would be better for 99 prayer in the respects of cost and time??

If your gonna bot it and you dont mind waiting for a few extra hours/days then I would suggest Big Bones. If you need it done asap, go with Frost's.

 

Well you also need to remember that you need to calculate the total time, including making that money. if you already have the 272M why not I guess. If your basically starting from scratch then the 122M could save you the time of making that extra 150M.

 

Well I don't really need it done ASAP. And I might bot a bit of it if any, but I'll mainly be doing it legit. Do you know what the average bones p/hr for botting is?

Yeah, well I already have 64m and I am going to do it after I get 99 Strength (91 atm) so I might have 272m or so afterwards depending how long it takes. But we will see, I guess. Thanks for your input.

Bot combat whilst having a bonecrusher in your inventory.
Trust me, you'll gain some fast levels.
(massing medium level monsters raises pray pretty damn well)

 

Id go with Dragon Bones. A good 300k exp /hour if doing legit. And with war tortoise

Terrorbirds only drop the exp/hour by like 20-30k. Do you have your own house with an alter? Really Beneficial.

Took me, when i decided 2 play again - 80 - 95 prayer, 4 days. 5 hrs per day.

Quit 1 week later, Rs is still shit, not as 2006 at all.
