Ok, So I was selling 80M not to long ago.. I sell it to a user on here named Your Boss-.. He buys it for $70 and puts a note in paypal saying "I have received Virtual Items".. After that, I go and buy somethings on CCS.com. 2 Days later, he Charge backs the money..

Questions:
What happens if I don't pay it back? The card I have on paypal is a debit card lol.

Will that affect me in any way?


Will it just affect my rating, or will some agency show up at my door?

It will have a real impact on you.

PayPal will do all they can to get their money back, including sending your info off to CC collection agencies.
Logically speaking if you have your real information on your card then you'll most likely have your Credit rating affected.

You're still screwed,

Most scammers would use a proxy to login their paypal and claim UN-Authorized Transaction, No matter what, You have to give it back because the owner is claiming he/she got hacked

 

What if he hasn't logged in as a proxy?

They still have their ways, and sometimes Paypal can make the wrong decisions. Everyone makes mistakes.

 

That is why when you sell gp, sell it to someone trusted and has numerous vouches...

If it gets to the point where your paypal account is NEGATIVE, you will be asked to pay it off. After 40-60 days, you will have a letter sent to your home address on your paypal account. A collection agency will call you threatning to take legal action ect. There have been people saying if you just ignore the calls they will go away, but I wouldn't take that chance. :/

Don't sell anything through Paypal anymore, just use it to buy products such as RS bots or clothes.

I remember I sold an account to someone for $250 and after all this time I'm pretty sure they stole a Paypal account and paid me with it, anyways to this day nothing has happened and it's been over a year.

Found out I have 3$ on my Paypal balance, wtf lol.

Yep, Paypal sucks bigtime.

I've lost over 500$ by Paypal being retarded.

 

Even so, He could easily charged back using many other methods.

It is almost Impossible to win a dispute against chargebacks when you're selling virtual stuffs..

Best thing is to remember to trade with trustable people, Even so, there are still risks.. I got scammed by a Year 2008 Member with over 50 vouchers.

It's hard but you'll find your own way to prevent this.

Another way is to use "PlayerAuctions", The fees are incredibly high but it beats losing everything.
