    Decriminalization Of Drugs

Decriminalization Of Drugs its the act of Prosecuting those who use drugs.
    You Might Ask Why?
Why Throw Non Violent Drug Users.

Waste 100 Billion Dollars A year when that money can be used for Schools, Locking Up Murders Rapist.

Why Lock Up Heroin,Marijuana,Cocaine Users. When People are being killed by prescription drugs like Prozac.

Government is Corrupt And so is the Big Corporations who supply all these synthetic drugs.

Why would you take a Anti Depressant when it can cause Suicidal Thoughts It doesn't make sence... We As a people need to stand up and have a revolution if Congress doesn't decriminalize drug users then a lot of people should get fired.

Do you have the exact numbers for how much we spend yearly? I highly doubt its 100 billion.

I only agree with you on marijuana. Cocaine, heroin, meth, etc etc users can all rot in prison in my opinion since those drugs have actual reasons to be illegal. People have killed on them, and people will kill on them.

You take the anti-depressant because it's specifically designated for that one job making it more useful than any other drug, especially those shit ones that don't do anything but kill you slowly. The only reason some (and when I say some I'm talking about a very low percentage) get suicidal thoughts are because the chemistry of the drug reacts with their own.

We should only decriminalize cannabis imo. All other drug laws are fine how they are, but I expect bud to be fully legalized in 2012.

To be honest i dont but the majority of the general public do. Its just stereotyping, some people think if they do these illegal drugs they are instantly clueless and dumb in general which makes me despise the people who just follow the crowd and think like that. Really it just tells me you are the dumb one and you dont think for yourself. OK some of them really dont have a clue what they are doing but doesn't mean they are all like that. I'm friends with people who smoke weed on a weekly basis and i dont smoke it myself nor have i tried it before.

I dont think they government is corrupt for this reason surely not. I can understand why weed is not legal, it just doesn't suit any working place. Imagine some guy turning up to work stoned, same goes for being drunk.

My personal opinion is that weed should be legal but people are only allowed certain quantities at a time. The whole thing about Weed damaging your body is so stupid comparing to tobacco.

The fact is, weed might be not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but abusing it over the years does in fact lower your IQ and has effects on your lifestyle.. I've seen it for myself. I wouldn't want my kids doing drugs so that in itself makes me think there's a time and a place for everything. For example - if your young and want to experiment, then sure. If you work your ass off and want to relax, sure. If your dying of cancer, sure. but when your sitting around all day smoking up, living off the tax of hard-working people, no. Or even people who do it in front of their kids, no. That's my opinion on the issue anyway.

Spekel can you please post links to a study that prooves this ?

Cannabis only makes you stupid if you are a lazy person. If you use it correctly it can be a wonderful aide for many things in life from study to stress relief to sleeping. Prolonged use may slow people down but it doesn't lower their IQ it makes them consider things more thoroughly. There is a bit difference between being slow and being stupid, remember that ok.

In my opinion it is too late to decriminalize drugs, and moreso the governments over here in aus are going backwards looking to ban ALL plants that contain DMT, Mescaline, Tropane alkaloids and pretty much anything else with shamanic / ethnobotanical uses. The result of which is that we now have swarms of kids ringbarking trees in the hope of getting high, not realising that to safely use acacia bark you will need to defat at least 3-5 times, as well as the fact at least basic chemistry experience is crucial to perform a A/B extraction. Being illegal and publicised is what drives kids who are just trying to rebel to drugs. They see that its wrong and go do it. So much of our best medicine is being thrown by the wayside because of its "alternative uses" and its bullshit.

If the govt has their way everyone will have a phobia of plants and only eat government supplied vitamin capsules.

Cannabis cannot make you stupid, decrease your iq none of that. The reason people say weed kills your brain cell is because a Harvard research was done pumping pure THC into Monkeys. Yes it did kill the monkeys brain cells why because they used a gas mask to pump the THC into the monkeys. Lack of Oxygen = Loss Of Brain Cells.

lol ill take it as you have watched "the Union"
I dont think cannabis makes you lazy, but while your stoned of course your going to be lazy.
I have been smoking weed everyday for over 10 years, and I am by no means lazy. I am a personal trainer at a gym, and i have been practising martial arts all my life, i have achieved a very high level in ju-jitsu (3rd dan black belt) and run classes at the gym.
While i was still in school i was always very academic and i honestly believe that smoking weed helped me in a very positive way.

it wasn't that they were pumped with pure THC, they were force fed smoke for 2 minutes.... gas masks forcing smoke down their throat which DID kill braincells. It is a joke and perfect example of DuPont and the Governments propaganda... Look into DuPonts relationship to cannabis being banned. Seems like big business running the govt to me >.<

Only one with any reason to be is Weed. Weed has tons of pro's and only one or two cons.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't 'decriminalization' mean 'legalizing drugs'?
As in, removing all criminal penalties from using drugs?

But anyways, I'd have to say that while there are some uses for those drugs, the number of potential abusers is most likely a lot higher. And who ends up paying for their medical bills? Us, the taxpayers.

Does that even make any sense? We need to overthrow our gov't. and if we don't we should fire people.

    I love your logic.

It seems to be working in Portugal.

I have no problem with drugs other than the violence occasionally associated with them.

    Weed Should Be Legal yes
For the other's i dont have any preferance as i do not use any other drugs

    Goverment are stupid though
The UK's Top Government scientist proved that alchohol and cigarettes are more harmful than smoking weed and the government fired him :S

They could make alot of money off taxing weed and there would be no major criminals associated with weed as not many people would commit crimes over weed if it was legal.

But Governments thinking they are right fuck everything up as always

All i can say is show me a legit recorded death that was caused by smoking WEED Alone and nothing else and i will gladly say that it should be illegal

The only thing dangerous about weed is getting caught with it, fuck the noise! I think marijauna shoulda been legalized a long time ago. money is the only reason it's not.

I think the line should be drawn at the damage to the person and other people. You can't argue that drugs like heroin haven't put people in danger to themselves or others before, so they should still be illegal.

As for pot, it's definitely not for me, but it's also relatively harmless. So long as it's confined to a home or a location where people aren't blowing smoke in my face, then I have no problem with it, and would choose it's legalization over alcohol any day.
