Problems purchasing membership?

    So my runescape membership ran out recently, and for the last 2 days I have been trying to upgrade my account. I have tried using 3 different credit cards and Paymo.

    All 3 of my credit cards were declined, including my debit card which is also a Mastercard credit card I get through my bank. I know there is money in there.
    So I figured whatever, I'll just pay a little extra and use Paymo like I always used to do. Now it's telling me that "Jagex Membership" is not compatible with my network, which is weird because I've used Paymo and Surfpin before.
    I recently changed my house phone service to Comcast, so I can't pay through my land line. I have already e-mailed Jagex's billing support, but of course, there hasn't been a reply yet.

    Is anyone else having this problem? Why won't it accept my payments?
    Is this a sign I should quit Runescape?

    This usually happened when i got frustrated and mistyped some card numbers, but I figured out later my bank withheld the payment due to it being suspicious to them. So I called my bank to clarify with them what I was trying to do, and the payment went through. If its a network issue Id leave your router unplugged over-night and try again 2morro.

    My credit card also stopped automatically updating because the company thought it was a suspicious purchase. Try calling your CC company.

    Well, I tried with 2 Visa's and a Mastercard. They shouldn't all be doing the same thingg... And Paymo doesn't work anymore, even though it worked last month and a million other times before that..

    I didn't have it for auto renew on these cards before, I used a different mastercard last time I payed with a cc. Every other time I've used Paymo.

    I remember on the RS homepage that they were doing some billing management, just wait 2-3 days and it should be fixed.

    Ugh I'm having the same problem, except i've never used PINs but it won't take my debit card :\

    Still having problems. It seems unlikely that they would just stop taking credit and debit cards...

    As far as Paymo, I got an e-mail back from their customer support saying that they do not currently support Verizon, which is funny because I've done it a hundred times before.

    Your account (like my pure was) is prolly locked to Pay-By-Cash method only.
    it happens quite randomly, nothing is sent to tell you.. but every method of payment you try won't work except to buy runescape cards from a store.

    Why would they do that? If I e-mail their billing support, will they inform me of this?

    Damn when I went to renew my membership a few days ago my debit card kept timing out and would eventually give up.

    Thought I was the only one :p might be some kind of error since they implemented the new things to buy. Hope it gets fixed soon, it's a pain having to buy pins :(

    if that's the case they would inform you of it when you message them on scape.
    they wouldn't tell me it by email, but they did send me a message on scape about it.
    And it was because I had paid before with a stolen AUS PbP pin.

    I submitted a billing query asking why my cards and verified paypal wouldn't be accepted.

    and they just messaged you after you logged in or did it take a while?
    I sent a billing query 2 days ago.

    took like a day and they don't message you ingame, they'll reply to your message via the message center

    ohh that's what I figured they would do. I just got the reply. I guess I have to check with my bank or whatever. I'll try and use paypal or something first probably. thanks for the help
