Are my stats good enough to PK or stake?

I've always been pretty afraid to PK or stake, since I didn't know if my stats could hold up, but I want some opinions. Advice would be great about which would work out, and maybe with strategies included. (which types of combat I should use etc.)

Here are my stats. Combat lvl is 116.

 

I would say stake, but depends on weapons.
Pking would be fun but I would say stake over PK because high stats and K0 fast.

 

You can definitely do both but I think PKing would suit you better.

Your account looks better as a PKer, either 1V1ing with Melee or hybridding with Mage/Melee.

For 1v1ing, be sure to use Vengeance.

For your main weapon either use a Whip or a Godsword (Armadyl preferred).

For your special weapon (With a whip of course) you should use a Korasis (If you did the quest), Dragon Claws (If you want to risk a whip when you get comfortable) or a Dragon Dagger (Efficient).

 

i wouldnt say stake tbh.. until u get 80 dung and then use a rapier in "whip" stakes.

Im lvl 115, my stats are, 99att 99str 72def 91rng 70pry 94mage 97hp
I get beaten in stakes god knows how.. i just want 80 dung

But when it comes to pking when its a whip vs whip i own.. but when they pull out all these new weps (i only recently came bak since i quit in 07) like a corasi ? watever that is, its fucked. they always spec high on me lol

 

What about for armor? And also, what would you recommend if hybriding? I think for now just melee would be best, since I just want to get used to pking.

 

I wouldn't stake there are quite a lot of 1 Pray prods who will be maxed at your combat so yeah. Go to the wild.

 

I'd say pk, as your defence is too low to box.

 

Just tried PKing for the first time. Didn't work out too well, lol. Whip and DDS, Neitz, full rune, team cape, dboots, glory, barrows gloves, and rune defender. I was using veng too. I think it could have just been a fluke though. Couldn't eat fast enough at one point.

 

Any other suggestions?

 

Pking not staking. I don't think you should box without max melee unless you have an account specially built for it. I guess you could try other types of staking but Boxing/Mage boxing seem to be the most common.

Your account is perfect for pking. Only thing that would help is a Rapier and maybe turmoil further down the track

Yeah, turmoil won't be happening for a while. However once I somehow strike it rich, I suppose I will be able to afford it

What would you recommend for a weapon setup?

EDIT: I'm currently working towards the requirements to do The Void Stares Back so that I can use Korasi's Sword.

 

definatley good enough to pk but i wouldnt stake thats just me
