Against rules if I do this?

The story:
I sold an account over a year ago, he recovered his paypal $.
So I recovered the account (The account had gained nothing since I sold it to him a few days earlier)

He just recovered it (I gave legit info when I sold it, he sent as a gift)

So.. I'm thinking.
If I let him play on it, then recover it in a month or more, would that be against the rules?

Considering it's rightfully mine, and there was roughly 150m on the account yesterday when I went to bed.

Would it be scamming?

Even if I WAIT, on purpose, to recover the account? Just to make him feel the pain of getting screwed.

 

Doesn't matter how you do it, you don't have the money, he doesn't deserve the account. Making him suffer is even better considering he is a scammer.

 

Yeah I think so - it'd be reverse scamming or something. Even if he scams you, you're technically scamming him too because you're recovering what he bought/would've bought. Putting work into the account would only make things worse.

It would be against Sythe rules. But then again, your not necessarily scamming him? He scammed you first. Also, its not really scamming (if thats what you want to call it) on Sythe is it?
So I'd just say keep playing with him and then wait til he gets skills up and gets more mils, thats what I'd do anyway, if he tried to scam me.

 

I would just recover it once a month, take the cash and transfer.

That way he keeps earning it back getting more and more mad til he finally gives up on the account

I am the original owner.
I sold it to him over a year ago.
A day after I sold it, he took back his paypal money.
(I gave legit info, since I wasn't sure if paypal was reclaimable [Sold on craigslist lol])

So he has the information, no idea why it took him a year to recover it.

 

He was probably hoping:

a) you quit
b) you put tons of stuff on it

 

I feel like if he scammed you first and then you recovered it back, its a moot point. Anything from that point on is only between you and him. If its your account to begin with then there's nothing wrong with recovering it back if he hasn't payed you anything.

Right now he is scamming you, you're not doing anything wrong. You can recover it whenever you want as it is your account, and nothing should happen to you.

This is just my take on this situation and I would ask a mod before you do anything just incase.

OT: Was a dumb idea to post this thread, could get in trouble for giving you advice if it is against the rules.

Recover it, he's the scammer and your the rightful owner of the account as he did not pay for it.
