Don't you hate when you join and your a newcomer and everyone assumes that your a scammer and makes you go first. To me it isn't fair. Your parents teach you to never judge a book by it's cover.
Whenever I deny someones trade they automatically think I'm a scammer. Well tell me what you think? I get cyber bullied here. And I'm fed up with it.

But you don't walk through downtown chicago, and "not judge people" and act like everything will go well. There is always danger, and precautions aren't a bad thing.

It's common knowledge to trust someone more who has been around longer, more posts and has somewhat a reputation.

 

I know what you guys mean. But still give the newcomers a shot selling them 2mil. And tell them just to prove your legit.
And at time when they don't want to buy from people it doesn't give the right for an Active Member, or A guru etc to judge them right away. If they don't want to buy from you leave them a lone.

 

We were all newcomers/leechers at one point or another. I'd love to give these people a chance, but the thing is, most of them end up being scammers.

As a newcomer, it's best just to do some small-medium trades with trusted people (going first, of course), then you can make newcomers with no vouches at all go first to you. Then expand

 

Good advice BeeStar. I feel bad tho. Like I've been roaming this site for two years and all I see is he didn't want to go first. He's a scammer and then the kid gets banned before he gets 20post

In my opinion a trader's reputation has to be built though time.
It takes vouches and patronage to be not viewed as a possible scammer when trading.

For example, I won't go first to anyone that doesn't have a better reputation than I do... which isn't really much.

 

It's just the way the world works.. it's unfair but think about it from the point of view of others. Everyone goes through it. I was a noob here once too, and now I'm a global mod. Work your way up the food chain.

In my opinion, you should go post some constructive posts around the forum that way you're known a bit more and THEN do some trades.

 

Just deal with it, Until you actually gained some trust. Then you could actually have people go first to you.

Also, So what if someone calls you scammer? You know the truth. If they wanna be immature, then let them. Laugh at how they can't get anyone to trade them.

Ya that's what I do when I buy but then they go tell a mod and then the mod believes them of course.

 

You just joined, what do you expect? Everyone starts off somewhere.. You don't join the site and can instantly expect to be trusted. Frankly, I trust VERY few members to a full extent.
If someone's calling you a scammer, simply use a MM/OMM. That can fix any issues within the trade.

As well, if someone just blatantly says "you're a scammer" I honestly don't think a mod is going to care. There's no proof, it's a pointless accusation which is infractable.

 

I was a new comer with 0 vouches like you just a few weeks ago. I did a few trades going first, getting scammed along the way, but now I have a reasonable amount of vouches. Today I got my first trade in which a newcomer went first to me! Its a process. You get scammed but in the end, it'll be worth it when your trusted and they're banned
