How do you recover an account via email?

I bought an account about a year ago with all the information.
I have trained so much on it, got it maxed out & everything &
now the owner has recovered it.. I managed to get it back
to get my gold off it and I just cant get it back any more.
My email is still on the account so I was wondering is there a
way I can recover via email? I have done it before but I don't
know how I did it. If you know how to do it please post on this

Here's how it works. If you have an email registered and no recovery questions, then you can recover it instantly by email. If it has email AND recovery set, then you need to go through through and fill out the recovery form

 

click on the emailed registered, they should send you a code.

Sometimes it is possible to recover it instantly with the email. But sometimes it doesen't work, that's up to Jagex.

 

so in a way email is better then recoveries?
less hassle when needing to type in information and if you bought the acc from someone it might be a change jagex will lock the acc if you dont provide enough information.

 

If you buy an account from someone and they recover it they get the email off also.
