How much would you pay for an X-log method?

These two statements are completely contradictory to one another.
If it is HARDWARE it is physic, you can touch it like a mouse, router, ethernet cable, or even a lagswitch.
There is no patch for the tangible world we know as reality. I suppose you might be referencing Jagex's patch to keep characters in game upon disconnect if in combat, but there is no real way around this (unless this is your method...).

I understand perfectly how x-logging works and what you have described is something that really make no sense. Software I might buy into, but hardware? BS.

 

Hm.. So your method has to do with actually timing out from RS, instead of a forced teleport like everyone believes.

If I had it, I'd pay 300M for it.

 

What he is saying is that JaGex could patch you being able to time out of a duel. I think.

By patch I mean they can change what constitutes a "time out" and a "log-out" so yes Its not to protect from software but methods like this can still be "patched" from the game. As we know most of the character is connected to the servers; but if we learn how to manipulate the part of our profile that we control it isn't that difficult to x-log.

 

Is it a java or executeable application?

 

As I said before its hardware. I'm not going to go more in depth then as I planned the first few models my intent was to simulate a real "timeout" so anyone looking to reproduce could go from there. Trust me when I say this-this is very vague tip and really won't do anything but get your mind flowing.

For anyone who doesn't know the difference here is a very general definition
software: programs
hardware: equipment

Software is easier to tweak and distribute, while hardware (in most cases) is more dependable and easier to set-up.

In response to who ever posted that its against the rules could someone please guide me towards the thread? I may have overlooked the rule. Either way this is for discussion purposes at the moment and if needs be I'll find another site for distributing.

Selling it only for 50m seems dodgy... And i'm sure Chainsaw is legit with his sales, maybe his version was just harder to pull off and had some kind of risk/high requirement to it?

if you had knowledge to program eproms, the physical chips on hardware components that hold coded data or write linux code for your killer nic or something to this extent, you would be able to amass money.

you know the risk going into it. bam fixed.
