Thanks man you saved me! Had my vps no problems for 2weeks and then I ran into that! You guys able to load up your bots atm? Nexus isn't working atm. Also, you guys ever install rsbuddy or powerbot on your vps?

Nexus is working fine for me, just restarted my bots. I also have no idea how to install rsbuddy or powerbot on a VPS. Sorry I couldn't help here.

Yes, all you have to do is submit a ticket and they'll get you upgraded.

 

K guys I'd like to talk about this guide on powerbot that supposedly can let you install powerbot/rsbuddy on a vps that is using Cent OS. http://www.powerbot.org/vb/showthread.php?t=703121&p=7224432

also on another note I have a warp 2 from Photon and. for the last 3 hours my bot has been stuck loading here,, running 4.70 update and booting up in safemode.. On rsbots.net homepage it says something about dling some update and dragging a dropping?

 

Ok so I managed to install rsbuddy on my photon, But now I have a rsbuddy jar on my desktop and I have nothing to extract it/run it w/e Im assuming I have to use terminal? Cause when i double click nothing happens.

 

roner, have you tried putting all of the global settings on the botclient (nexus) to the left? Or are you also not using nexus on your warp 2?

 

So I can't even connect to my vps because I think I loaded too many bots onto it and it lagged up. How can I just close everything on the vps without having to be on the vps?

I got a question here. I have 3 PhotonVPS VPS, all of them are Warp 3. 2 of them are running fine, but one of them, I kept on getting this error.


What can be the cause of this error? How can I solve it? I've asked the support team of PhotonVPS, they kept on telling me its fixed and such, but the problem is still there.

 

Connect via putty and type reboot, then start ur vncserver.

Theres no point in buying such a cheap vps. Trust me. Save few bucks and buy smth better.

The YardVPS plans look much shittier.

 

And then how does botvps.com compare to these ones?

 

You won't, and never will exceed 10gb bandwidth.
YardVPS and PhotonVPS are owned by same person I guess. One is managed VPS, and another is unmanaged.

For botvps.com, there's never a good feedback for them. Don't recommend their VPS.

 

When I run my bot on my VPS, it's laggy as hell. Is there any ways to cut down on lag apart from pushing settings to left?

 

edit the "run-linux.sh" in your bot folder. Instead of 1000xm put 420, or something of your choice

 

Are you sure it's lagging or is it the ping from VNCviewer? From my experience they all 'look' laggy but are not.

 

Put all your settings to the right.. it only appears you are lagging more but you actually aren't.

Is there a specific command to reboot, or I just type in "reboot" and press enter?

 

just type "reboot" and wait. Then start ur vncserver.
