Malwarebytes A Must Have To Keeping Your PC Safe

This thread will be useful for member's who don't have knowledge of anti virus's and protecting there RS account's.

This program will find trojans, keylogger's and backdoor's that free anti virus's like AV and Windows Defender will not find.

How do i use Malwarebytes?

Go ahead and download the free version from Here

Once everything's installed, it will ask you to update, click update and it will manually download the latest update's. ( Sometime's ask's you to )

Once you've opened up malwarebytes, you should have a screen like this. Choose to do a full scan, or a quick scan. I recommend a full scan as a quick one will rarely find anything.


Wait for the scan to complete, usually take's around 2-3 hours. Trust me, it's worth it. Once done, you'll see this.


Click show result's, then removed seletected. It will remove the virus, then tell ask you if you want to restart, click yes and you should be fully clean!

You should try Blink. Its much better.

 

I just use AVG Internet Security, but yes, I've used this software before and I do recommend it.

Great software. I had this on my other laptop, but I forgot to reinstall it. This reminded me thanks, very useful software to have. Helped me out a bunch in the past.

 

AVG doesn't pick up most keyloggers / Rat's and Malwarebytes is generally good for that. I've got Malwarebytes pro, Comodo and AVG running .

I love this program! Best program to remove trojans.

 

It is a good program, but I don't think there is a need for a guide on how to set it up, as all you need to do is the following:

Download
Run
Accept
Install

Done

 

I use this and it's great, definitely worth it
