Whatever happened to RID ?

Anyone remember RID from back in the day? Robotzindisguise botting client? They promised the world, but then I never heard anything from them. Would love to know the lore if anyone knows!

 

I have lifetime with RID. Their new software is unique. You technically create your own bot by doing multiple repetitions of same task. You can't do anything complex yet but for bank stand stuff works really well.

 

How good is the anti ban? And does it work on runelite or is it its own client? Thanks for response.

 

How much did you pay for this? And what’s the ban rate?

 

To my knowledge, nobody has been banned from using RiD on OSRS. They were selling lifetime memberships for $200 for a while. It's been discontinued.
It's been a while since I've gone back but the last time I tried to check it out you couldn't run it on windows 11. Only 10 and below.

 

Funny, was just looking into it today and saw this thread while browsing Sythe. I faintly remember getting a 1-99 with RiD doing Fletching, maybe more, but I think I got banned when I fooled around with cheap/free OSBot scripts (rookie move, you have to be super careful using scripts within injection clients).

Looks like the website has gone through some changes. From what I've seen, it has a nice little community with a developer behind it that is committed. For someone who just wants to max out skill levels and isn't after gold farming, this is perfect. The nature of the program itself automatically puts your chance of being banned at a significantly lower rate compared to other clients.

I'll update y'all soon, I plan on making an account just for RiD botting.

 

Was that the Mark Snellman company from back in the day?

 

I have thousands of hours botted on RiD on accounts without a single ban. Did multiple week long runs as well without any issues.
