Do you read?

I absolutely love to read, I spend a lot of my day reading.

 

I like to read ....I prefer poems, mystery novels, short stories, and interesting articles (e.g. biotech articles)

 

The last book I remember actually reading is Superfudge in 5th grade. I'm very good at reading and writing, I just don't have the patience to sit through a book.

 

I read. I usually read books about psychology or logic. Each book I read will open up my mind like nothing else will.

 

All the time, I love it.
It really depends on the book though. If I'm really into it, I won't put it down until I'm done.

 

You gotta share some titles with me. I read the same kind of books.

 

i dont read that often but i like the book outsiders i recommend it.

 

i cant do it. i get bored way too quickly. i just plain dont like reading.

 

Absolutely. I usually find about 4 good series and I'll go through them all at once, just to help spread them out. I stopped getting paper books though. I got a Nook and now the prices are halved and it's pretty much the same

I'd advise widening your scope, as reading can open up millions of new worlds to you, each unique to you, the reader

 

I never read anything I haven't written myself

 

The only books I read for enjoyment (not forced by school) was the Harry Potter series. I never read for fun, but I actually couldn't put these books down :noworry:

Sometimes I skim random books like history books, but other then that the only other things I read are magazines.

 

I'm really interested in science fiction, but i've also read books about drug addictions and such.

Favorite is definitely the Harry Potter series, read the last book in two days (1000 pages).

 

When a continuation of a series I like comes out I'll read it in a day or two.

Other then that I'll pick up a book every now and then and finish it in a few days.

Currently my Criminal Justice teacher gave me "CRIMINOLOGY TODAY: An Integrative Introduction" book; It's huge - like 450 pages of small print discussing criminology but it's very interesting to scim through; Which is what I do when I'm extremely bored.

 

That's a good question, though I haven't read one (excluding school stuff) for years, so I don't really know.

 

I love to read, but the only books I will read are ones that make it seem like I'm a different person in a different time or place.

 

You should try out The Malazan book of the fallen series, they're extremely different from reality, hell, they're different from any other books i've read

 

i only read when i find a book that really interests me, it takes a couple tries
