RID is the safest bot on the market. Without a doubt.

But it's more unstable than Rsbots.net etc.

You can't expect RID to run 10 hours straight for instance. That's a rare occurrence.

So, pros/cons

Pros:
Undetectable

Cons:
Unstable/bad at randoms/doesn't run for very long
You pay for points, not a lifetime bot
You can't minimize it

 

Imho it's worse than the good Nexus scripts. Hands down, you just can't get banned even if you 24/7 with most nexus bots, and they're a lot more stable. Cheaper too.

 

You can minimize them. (Atleast, we can )

No you can't,

You can install a virtual OS and run the bot there, but that's not really a solution.

 

Mine runs for 8-10 hours straight when I set it to run that long, because everytime I get a bug I let RiD know about it and he fixes it. And also the statement about Nexus is false. I have seen hundreds of people say they were banned from Nexus, and how many people have I seen say they were banned from RiD? 0.

Mine runs for 8-10 hours whenever I set it to run that long. You also can minimize it, and it's about 6-8 cents an hour, which is only expensive if you live in a tribe in Africa.

 

They have best bots in runescape, period. Although expensive you cant ask for more reliable or safer bots than rid. I been using them for a while now, no bans, rollbacks or any problems. Just don't go suiciding with them and you should have no problems.

 

Well, Nexus scripts run for days. And last time I checked, you couldn't minimize it without installing a virtual OS.

And I never called it expensive. It's just a dumb system for the user.

You can't exactly call them "best" unless the definition of best is "least detectable"...

The bots aren't more reliable, they're much more unstable compared to nexus bots.

 

The whole point of RiD is to have a 0 chance of ban. If you bot unhuman-like hours, of course you will be banned after a few months. I've had a 27 hour run before I stopped it, because I had forgotten to turn it off.

Also RiD doesn't like goldfarmers, so he wouldn't change it to a system where it could be abused by goldfarmers.

yes it can, by using a virtual machine. There is a slipstreamed version of Windows XP that you can download off the site, and use for the VM. There is a guide and everything. Took me 15 minutes to set it up and I have been fine from then on

The bans are not even in the triple digits, very negligible.

 

That's just not exactly the bot minimizing.

That's you installing a freaking extra Operating System and running it there...

You are minimizing what is hosting the bot, so in a sense it is minimizing

@the cons

1. If 6-8 cents per hour is expensive, then you must live in a tribe in Africa
2. It has 9 bots, and new bots have been released every couple of months
3. It doesn't use your mouse if you use a virtual machine, which is free and takes 15 minutes to set up
4. They do not lie at all about the bans. It still stands to this day, that since the Guidelines were made, and the bot was brought to it's current level of undetectability in August of 2008, there have been 0 bans following the Guidelines. There was 11 bans in 2009, and they all severely broke Guidelines, 9 bans and 1 reset in 2010, and all severely broke Guidelines. I have not heard of any bans so far in 2011. The owner owns 3 phats (red, blue, and white) and many other rares, and has used between 3-5k hours, and all following Guidelines on the same account, and he has 0 offenses on his account.
