Account Market Split Into Mains/Stakers/Pures/Skillers

I definitely support it would make things much simpler. Except where would Tankers & Names go?

 

sounds like a good idea, but how dyou define mains? 60+def?
how dyou define pures? 60-def?
theres many kind of stakers, would maxed melee with 70pray and 1 summoning be considered as staker? if you make a summoning requirement to that section you ruin it for summoning stakers..

 

It's not a bad idea but the problem will be that people will STILL post their account in the wrong section, regardless of how many stickies/sections you make, the same thing will still occur. Although you're quite right, having a another section might not be a bad idea.

 

Support would make it easier to find diffrent acc's

 

I think that the amount of wrongly posted accounts would be reduced quite a lot by this kind of update to the forums.

Support. As for where threads go, I think it's up to the user to decide where something goes (unless it's obviously wrong, like a level 3 skiller in the main section).

 

A forum/subforum for rare names, and tankers goes in mains, same goes for barrows etc.

Explanation of pure/skiller:

A "Pure" has HIGH dependent stats (Attack, Strength, Magic, and Ranged), and LOW independent stats (Prayer, Hitpoints, Defense, and Summoning)

The LOWER the INDEPENDENT stats are, the more PURE you are. Tanks, barrows and bandos pures belong in the main section.

And the rule here on Sythe is that pures is 45 defence max. Roughly.

And stakers are VERY hard to characterize, since 70-70-70 is now considered a staker somehow. Not entirely sure how this would be sorted.

Roughly; "A character created to have an advantage when staking"

 

People can't decide that by themselves. Then we get retarded threads such as "99 str, 99 mage, 99 hp, 99 attack, 99 defence pure!" and "bandos pure"

That's why I got the barrows/tankers sticky added.

I almost completely disagree with you. On several occasions I've looked for rare names threads, and they are a pain in the *** to find.
