    Why is it that people that mage (excluding in a team) hybrid?

    for me its good for staking ,I dont have problem with mage boxing or sothing... maybe your pc is laging or osmthing ,or whatafe..

    I dislike skull because it makes you wait seven minutes between fights, something eerily similar to the 30-minute wait between fights back in Bounty Worlds.

    However, I don't think Jagex will make skull count as a potion because the left-click option isn't "drink" and, Jagex being Jagex, I doubt they'll admit that it's pretty goddamn like a potion

    Jagex should have never introduced Vecna Skull's into the game. There was really no point in the item being released.

    There is some information of a new spellbook focused on the soul/blood runes. I've heard it a few times. Hopefully it will help out :/

    Are you kidding me? Arcane stream and Staff of light updates have taken mage to the point where it can hit over 400 on other players, i disagree that they need to make it stronger, maybe give us another spellbook to play with or something, but they have made it strong enough.

    It takes a mage max everything and weak as hell armor to potentially hit a 400

    I can hit 400's with a whip and welfare gear no problem

    the whip is faster, more accurate, more flexible (in terms of the gear you wear) and way easier to re-obtain. The whip isn't even close to the best available.

    Miasma? How many players will still fight you after their attack speed is halfed?
    Staff of light? +30 seconds to your survival time.
    Farcast? LOL
    Anything else you'd like to add?

    I dont see the problem, you both have the skull and will both be 105 mage V 105 mage, it's just like being 99 mage V 99 mage.
    I dont really think jagex will be changing this any time soon.

    The 7 minute wait. The fact that it is now essential to have an overpriced practically otherwise useless item just to fight other people.

    99 mage 99 hp 70+ def
    or lower levels have something like 99 mage 80 hp 1 def
    or even low levels (50's) often fight with mage arena spells.

    They really ought to just make the cooldown time for skull go away at the end of every duel, just like how you don't have to wait for the spec to recharge on a wep

    Because melee has better spec weapons, and it is easier to spec with dclaws when your already meleeing someone.

    + I did say CR might have better DPS, but magic CAN hit over 500+ with Ice Barrage, which is pretty damn high.

    I don't know... I don't understand why they introduced the skull in the first place. I mean, the only way it brings about an advantage is if you have more than 1 skull (thus meaning you can "trick" your partner into accepting a duel after you both used yours, having them think you don't have a charge left).

    There might be some glitch to reset it, unless JaGex made it so the recharge rate was based on the player, not on the item (like ring of forgings).
