Need some help with an account I purchased!

Hello, I bought an account just yesterday here on Sythe and I have an important question... What happens if Jagex locks the account you bought? I logged on today and after playing for about 2 hours, I was forced offline. Upon trying to sign back in, I received a message saying that the account was suspected of being stolen and was to be locked. I tried to appeal the lock with the account information the seller provided however my appeal was denied. After my first deny, I went to try and make a second appeal, however, when I went to the "Recover a Locked Account" tab, I was automatically redirected to the password recover page. I tried getting to the appeal page for locked accounts multiple times and was redirected every single time. I tried to sign into my account again, and when I did I realized that there some how was no longer any password set on my account. I tried to recover my password multiple times and couldn't get a new one, even with all of the account information included in the appeal. I don't think this was part of some elaborate scam because only Jagex can lock an account, not a seller... So could Jagex have actually thought the account was stolen and accidentally processed my Locked Account Appeal twice, thus causing me to be unable to send another appeal as well as causing my passwords to vanish and my password appeals to all be denied? I don't really know what to think right now... I've tried contacting the seller but it's quite late so they probably wont respond until tomorrow if they even can. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

 

Talk to the buyer.

Maybe he gave you the wrong information or ask him to provide you with more information to help you recover the account.

 

AS stated above, your only option is to talk to the seller, make sure you record or screenie your msn convo with him aswell.
In the past I bought an account it got locked,
I contacted the buyer to recover it for me, he said ok. It was unlocked and he never came back online..
But ever since then, that's why I no longer buy accounts off sythe, only sell.

 

I think its fair to say uve been dicked on.

IF he didn't scam you & if he is the real owner, talk to him and ask him if he can unlock it for you.

Get information of acount.
1.ip( very helpful)
2.previous paswords and last one ,what you use.
3. wrtie in to box alot off acc info ,frendlist, what you make 1-2dasy ago in this acc.
4.e-meil.
5.member info.

its work for me every time.

 

Okay, a few questions though. I have the seller's IP but don't know where to enter it in a recovery form... In the ISP section? Also, I've tried using all previous/old passwords in various combinations without them working. I tried writing about the account. I entered the email. I've entered all members info and how the membership was paid for and what type it was. And I still couldn't get the account back. I have proof that I've paid for the account and all. I also got the seller's estimated address by giving his IP a quick search. So what can I do from here. I don't wanna scream that it's a scam just yet because maybe the seller just hasn't logged in yet since yesterday... Any other suggestions?

 

Ask the seller which country and city he/she is from and send an appeal from a proxy that is located nearby.
