hey how many SG bots can i run on a warp 2 or 3?

 

Why a VPS? get a dedicated server for $119 - $130 that runs 8 - 10 bots perfect and not have to worry about other users on the VPS taking all the resources.

 

My guess would be 500mb per bot. So 2 and 4, maybe 5 on the warp 3.

If you can get a dedi with the exact specs or better than those which I pay for, for cheaper than I will gladly switch. You get what you pay for dedicated servers are the same, sure you can get a pentium 4 with 3 gb ram hosted for dirt cheap, but your not getting raid 10 unless you purchase multiple HD's which cost $$ even setting it up costs $$ unless you know how to increase the I/O yourself, management costs $$ unless you know patches/updates to all the software included, security costs $$, extra Ram over 1-2GB will cost you $$(I'd need 24GB), even just a dual core your looking at over $120 without add ons. I can go on for days. But if you want a quality you pay for it right?
Your 119-130 will buy you a single maybe dual core cpu with 2 gb ram and a 10mbps transfer before upgrade, if you want it in a data centre that is and not in someones basement. If you find an outstanding deal on a dual quad core cpu multiple hd raid 10 20gb kingston ddr ram thats semi or fully managed please send a Pm my way.

Now, I usually am able to run 2 SW bots on this VPS. Obviously, something has changed, and I don't know if it's Seerhost's problem.

 

How many kMiner bots would be runnable on http://www.photonvps.com/xen.html a Warp3 package?

 

You'd stick at least 4, with Kminers probably 6 if you have 2 auths. Just run 3 clients 2 bots per Kminer is low resource. I don't know if the world switching would affect performance but I would imagine so.

 

looking at making an army on WARP 4, what bot would maximize my profit?

Perhaps you can reboot and that would fix the problem, if not submit a ticket to seerhost.

I can't advise on profit/hr here, but getting a Warp 4 from PhotonVPS is a great decision.

 

Just realized this is Hazenut.

 

They don't allow "CPU intensive scripts" so be careful. New policy since the takeover. Make sure globals are to the right to try fly under the radar. It's an Openvz container btw.

 

So is Photon the only VPS provider that has XEN packages?

 

So the guy working at Seerhost tells me to turn all Global Settings to the right EXCEPT Client Sleep Time. This true or should I turn all to the right?

i am having problems with my vps anyknow know the problem ? i installed the new client edited the 100xm 472xm ect and but when i run it via terminal this is what i get


Error occurred during initialization of VM
java/lang/ClassNotFoundException: error in opening JAR file /root/Desktop/NeXus/./jars/nexus21.469.jar

the old version does not show that and it comes up fine..
i have rebooted vps and reinstalled java once already

 

Hey guys, I run my vps w/ centOS and I use screen to run programs in the background such as my minecraft server and I was wondering if you can run multiple programs using screen and if so how is it done thanks.

 

I personally turn everything to the right, including client sleep time. I don't see how it could negatively affect your bots in any way.

Who is your vps provider?

So when I go to rsbots.net and click on Download Client it takes me to a page that says "Too many requests try back soon"

How do I fix this? Its been like this for a day.

 

you need to keep refreshing the page till its available or keep trying thought out the day
