To both of the above, I don't mind.
In the summer, a gay guy, my age. Said some shit about my best mates sister, I wasn't that bothered, but then he said he was going to kick the shit out of her, so then I was bothered, so I punched him a few times..
Then I got shit of the people we hang round with because apparently you can't hit a gay guy, even if he threatens a girl..

 

Homosexuals only bother me when they force their preferences onto straight men in the same way a religious fanatic forces their ideas on an individual. This of course does not include all homosexuals (as I'm great friends with one) and this behavior is not exclusive to just homosexuals.

 

If It Doesn't effect me then i dont care about anything.
I Hate people that hate other people because why should other people effect what we do.

The only gay people i dislike are the one's who feel the need to over exaggerate everything and make it more gay than the word gay itself but even then im not bothered.

I'm not going to beat around the bush, I do not like homosexuals, and that is because the few that I know refuse to conform to society in any manner. They are overboard with their "gay pride" and as Matt stated, this is very annoying. Be flamboyant, be nicely dressed, like penises, just don't get in my face about it.

Military: Go for it. However, don't act in a manner in which you may endanger your peers.
Marriage: What the other guy said about marriage not being 'invented' by Christianity. I think marriage has been modernized for two people in love, and two men/women have the capability to be in love, so why not.

I have no problem with homosexuals, and I have a few friends who are so as well. Just keep it behind closed doors and try and include me in anything sexual and I'm totally fine with it.

 

What is it with this notion of homosexuals trying to "push their homosexuality" on people.

You do realize that them doing that is no different than you soliciting sex to a woman? The vast majority of gay people aren't sexual predators in the same way that the vast majority of straight people aren't homosexuals. Again, you are speaking right from ignorance.

It's amazing how many people there are here who are afraid (likely because they have thoughts they don't want to admit or hint towards) or religiously opposed to homosexuality.

I tend to agree with Spyike. Trying to force your homosexuality on other people by trying to shoot holes in their arguments just makes you look just as stupid and ignorant as the people flaming this thread .

 

I am in favor of gay marriage; however, I am not too sure where I stand on homosexuals in the military.

A military's main priority is to protect its respective nation. If anything infringes on that priority then whatever creates that barrier should be dismissed immediately. The military is not a platform to disperse harmony or reconcile two opposing ideals.
