"Stakers" Belongs In Mains

IMO 6 different forums for account trades is too many anyways, so why not merge them together and only make different forums for different cb lvls?

The first use of the word 'pure' in RuneScape was around 2003 when people started making accounts solely to FISH
without other players knowing who you were, this became sort of a sport and players actively tried to taunt people giving out
little snippets of information about their real identity and having fellow fishers take guesses
(there was just one place to fish lobsters at this time, very few active people were high enough cooking(+rich enough) to train cooking on Swordfish so almost the entire eating community used lobsters)

You also need only to look at the word 'pure' itself to discover that your second paragraph is nonsense,
if the account has specifically only trained defense then he is without question purely defensive, with no other stats increasing his combat,
revealing you, having made that statement,
the most obvious self-centered ignoramus on Sythe
(who undoubtedly owns a 1 defence pure, not a defence pure or a staker of any sort).

And people called 70-70-70 a main before because there were no barrows, genius, it was just an account that could use dragon but had 10 extra attack and defense levels for no gain.
(And I somehow doubt you were playing before stakes were possible, was that in the year 2001 sir? Because I was 'No weapons' staking in 2002)

Why would you possibly want to merge them only to combat levels, not only to types?
I would much rather prefer 'Mains' 'Pures' 'Skillers' and 'Stakers' sections without
combat restrictions, with a rule against posting the same account in two forums.

I like how it is right now. You might think whats the point of 6 sections but think about it from the point of view of a buyer. You have a staker you want to buy (which seems really popular atm), you simply go to the right section with the right combat level.

Vice versa.


I personally dont think that going into semantics and trying to define a defence pure or what a staker/pure actually is has any point. Try and see the bigger picture ^_^

 

Actually I have a 70-30-70 staker. Which is more a main than a pure.

People leveling high trade-skills has later gotten the name Skillers. So you can't really use that.

And no, YOU need to look at the word "pure" itself.

It basically means "Not mixed" And the first use in pking of that word, is to describe 1 defence. The rule got bent, and having a very low defence level became the meaning of "A pure".

Yes 99 defence and no other stats can be described as "That guy purely leveled defence" but he is still not A pure.

Try Youtubing "pure"... The very first videos are of level 1 defence accounts pking the fuck out of everything..

I just told you that PURE was used for 'skillers' FIRST, then you come here and tell me that I CAN'T USE IT for anything else?

LANGUAGE CHANGES, I don't claim all 'pures' to mean 'people who are fishing lobsters in RSC the year 2003 while hiding their identity' because I know DEFINITIONS CHANGE with people using language for their benefit.

You however are so cocky that you think the definition of pure is right now '1 defence' and that nobody has any right to dispute that with you?
And that it should never change because you don't want it to?
That it can't change from 1 defence to 'high stats with low other stats' even though it changed from ANONYMOUS FISHER to '1 defence pure' at some point?

The whole point in the word "pure" vanishes when you start using it on mains...

Pure-fishers were changed to skillers.

It's only amongst people who DON'T have pures, that 70 defence can be considered a pure.

Try checking out the pure forums, where the real pures are. And what their opinion on a 70 defence pure is.
