High Pardon Request + Removal of IP ban

Hello.

I'm not posting from a proxy, I am posting from another computer at my University.

I was today banned for the involvement of archiving the thread "Finn is dishonest" and then "assisting" to distrubute it.
I was PM'd by Tyro asking me if I had saved the majority of the pages, which I replied with a link to my webhost.
I don't know if Tyro's fate was the same as mine.

All the files related to this incident have been removed from my webserver.

I was skeptical at first about having my name on the archived pages seeing as I would most likely get frowned upon by a few heads and cheered by others, after seeing the mixed reviews of replies on the thread.

I never knew the thread got moved to the staff lounge. If I knew it was precisely the staff lounge I would not have hosted it as it would be seen as leaking from the staff lounge. I don't recall seeing any clarification that it was moved there.

Well, it's been nearly 4 years since i've been here at Sythe, and it's been a big chunk of my teenage years.
As for contributions i've made to the site, i've posted a total of nearly 2600 posts which I feel is quite considerate seeing as I don't spam.

Most of my comments are in off topic, and sometimes in the market.
I've never scammed whilst being here and never will. I've sold several accounts which the buyers have all been satisfied with their purchases, and have always been on MSN if anything went wrong.

I know I do troll a bit in the spam forum, and swear a bit, but thats what the spam forum is for, to mess around and have a bit of fun.
I recently started hanging out in the unofficial IRC, which is nice as to interact with other users. All that has now been jeapordized.

I really do hope you consider and have a rethink about my ban.
I know what I did was wrong in certain respects.

I hosted it.
I'm SFTW.

I never knew it was illegal, i'm sorry, plus after seeing SMR had archived threads in the past I thought it would have been okay.
Also, I never recieved an email from my host, I removed it at my own free will so that first part is slightly untrue.
I also never wanted to distribute it, which is why at first I had it only uploaded to my own personal website which contained links to all my various contact details. This was then removed and moved to another URL which I own after Tyro approached me and asked if I had saved the site.

He didn't ask me if it was okay to distribute the documents, as the immediate PM I recieved back from him after showing him where I had hosted it was 'Thanks! I'll distribute this" or something along those lines.

I think my ban is extremely unfair given the circumstances, along with Tyro's and marrows. However Marrow did troll quite a bit. I didn't. For nearly 4 years in a community I didn't think something like this would bring it to an end. I never knew of the supposed legalities of archiving data like that and the fact it was 'against the rules'.
The thread was also moved when I was asleep and the timescale is pretty small.
