I brought a domain with Blogger - http://www.thingsflypeoplelike.com/

Since I brought it with blogger it is still powered by blogger so blogger is my webhost.

I want a new web host Any Tips?
And once i get a webhost then what?
How do I cuztomize my website?
My website is a blog format how do i update new post with the new webhost?

Once you get the new web host there will be able to move your website, that can be done at server control panel.

 

for host I suggest 1 & 1, you can currently get 6 months free, and after that only $7 - $10 a month depending on the package you want... (broken down, 1st year at the lower package is $42)

Their uptime is good (in the 99%) and they offer database in your package (which your blog will need)

As far as porting your blog over, you will need to decide what blog script you want to use.. Wordpress, etc
There are plenty of free ones out there... you will need to set up your template again with the new one, and after that you will need to transfer your database dump into the new blog (most have a conversion tool to do this), blogger should allow you to download a backup of your blog

 

Id recommend using wordpress. its free.

 

I would *strongly* disprove of using wordpress merely as blogging software.

Actually, lemme reword that, I would STRONGLY disprove of using wordpress. Sure it may be easy to install + free; but it is so limiting, and it is clunky for what you are trying to do.
Assuming you are keeping your site just as a blogging site, I would get someone to design you a PHP + MySQL driven blogging platform, without all the jazz. There are plenty of free PHP + MySQL tutorials on this sort of thing, and many people who would script it cheaply for you.

If you plan on expanding your site past a blog, other alternatives are on the horizon. I would only suggest wordpress to a very specific group of people.
