Stay up late and study or wake up earlier and study?

Which one? I'm debating, I honestly don't feel like studying now and I find it hard to study so late (9 PM for me atm)

    Thanks,

Your mind is fresh in the morning, so that's when I study.

The million dollar question is do you trust yourself to wake up?

Lol I always study like 40 Minutes before the test. I never study that much But yeah I would say study at night because they say it stays in your mind if you study right before you sleep.

Yes, I definitely trust myself to wake up because I have 3 tests tomorrow and I didn't pay attention to the lessons for any of them :/

Try reviewing before you go to sleep. When you wake up and study, you might remember little things here and there that could help.

I'm not going to give you the science, however most teenagers will stay up later because of their brain chemistry; with that they'll also wake up later.

If your feeling tired at 9PM, then your most likely an Early morning person, and therefore I'd suggest you study early in the morning as opposed to late at night.

I never remembered things as well without a few hours sleep as a buffer.

Study in the morning, it's the best time to make your brain work; it's still "fresh" so you can memorize more buf if you study at night after a long day, you'll be tired and won't learn much.

To be honest, staying up late and cramming has always "worked out" For me. We all are different and learn differently so test out one method tonight, and then when another test comes up try that out. You might suffer a blow on a grade, but you'll learn what works best for you.

I like staying up late and just cramming everything and hopefully ( well most of the times ) bits of information stays on in my brain and i can use them to work out my answers.

If i study in the morning i will be too unfocused and tired to absorb information.

The best you should do is to do a quick review at night, and in the morning study again :)

At night because if I dare tell myself that I will wait up and study, it never happens. So nighttime studying.

I study right before the test/quiz, i never have to study to much. I always seem to manage decent grades.

Morning person, the mind is refreshed after a good nights sleep, shower and breakfast.

I prefer the second one. During college days, if there's an examination I always wake up early. For me, it's the best time to review the lessons.

What works best for me is to stay up as late as you can, study your ass off, and sleep when you literally can't go any further. Before you go to bed, set your alarm clock hella early, and when it wakes you up in the morning, keep snoozing until you're awake enough, then quickly review what you looked at the other night. It helps me retain a lot of information at once, great for cramming.

I stay up super late two days before the test and cram for it, briefly study periodically during the day before and then I wake up about 4 hours early and review (4 AM MWF, 7 AM T/TR) Works pretty well for me.
