is throwing a baseball natural?what is natural?

hello sythe today i have a question for you and it basically has to do with a debate i got into at school today so let me give you the background.I was sitting in a group with a baseball player who is very dumb and made many stupid accusations today day such as a dog's eye being the same as a human's eye, alcohol not being addicting in any way, and the final one is he says to throw a over hand baseball is unnatural but under hand isn't.I have printed out different sources to show this kid on the other subjects but this one is deeper it goes into "what is natural for the human body" he asked the teacher(who doesn't like me) to Google it and she just read something off of what i think was yahoo answers which sided with him. i think the answer to the question is to define what "natural" means and then if throwing over hand doesn't contradict that then it is natural. i have been reading many different definitions of natural and have found nothing with which could be applied to the bones in the shoulder of the human arm. some of the baseball articles say its unnatural because its turning the socket in a unnatural way but that further asks the question "what makes that way unnatural" thus "what is natural" i would like to hear your opinions on what you think and a way to explain it to this kid.

    thanks.

Anything that can be done with your muscles/body with no outside source helping it (like something hitting you in the arm causing it to move) is natural IMO. Our body is naturally flexible.

Moving your arm is natural for the human body. Moving your arm in a way that dislocates it's joints is not.
It sort of comes down to perception, however you could associate natural with the word normal. It's not abnormal to throw a baseball.
