getting scammed alot need to make a setup!

i keep getting scammed and need help

 

Some tips for you then...

1. Never go first. Ever.
2. Don't use PayPal for large trades, use WU.
3. Never use a MM you don't know.
4. Don't trade.
5. Never do swaps.
6. Never do 50/50 trades.
7. Don't buy accounts for RSGP, as it's most likely a scam, especially if the account being sold is cleaned. (Could indicate they cleaned it before or they are uber poor and need to make bank again by scamming).
8. Don't trade with newbies/leechers that have just joined and offer you the autowin.

^ This, cant vouch for him but i suggest using a OMM till you can get on your feet.

 

Go for a mm or an omm. Advice people give you will help you a bit but you're not going to learn for yourself unless you frequently trade. By doing this you can learn the tricky ways of scanners and how they try to pull off things, say the will offer $25 for your $15 item if you go first.

Something you CAN do is to scout the RaS section to see what scanners do to try and pull off their scams so you an beware.

 

I have a strong disagreement with rule 4

and 9. Always request pms and confirm that who you are trading with is the person he claims to be, to prevent trading with hacked accounts also check that the sythe user hasn't got another msn adress which isn't the one he is using.

 

i Would never go first in a trade, unless i see the money(if paypal etc) in the actual account, thats only me tho. MMs are very helpful too.

 

Since you get scammed often you should learn by now something to prevent it. Anyway, there are guides from which you can learn how to stay safe. Also, when using a MM, ask for PM.

 

Only use highly trusted MM's, never use them for huge trades like party hats and that kind of stuff. Use OMM's, ask for PM's, beware of impostors.

Here is the best advice anyone can offer you: use common sense. As silly as it sounds, I owe to common sense the fact that I haven't been scammed in over 4 years, with the exception of one chargeback, from which I learned a lot.
