Is Artisans Workshop worth it?

Hello all.
I am on a long and trying quest to get my 99 smithing back.. which jagex so kindly jagrolled down to 91.
Currently at level 98 (just got today) doing gold bars with goldsmith gaunts
Wondering, is artisans workshop worth the money/xp ratio?
Honestly, im sick of smithing and wnat to move on to the next 99 skill (i am working on getting all my jagrolled 99s back).
If so, what type of ore do you use? im assuming your doing the sacred sword things.
