Looking to get into botting

Few questions I'd love to have answered.

1, With 2 computers with 8gb ram, a 3.2ghz 4 core processor and two graphic cards each how many bots could I run?

2. What is a VPN? I've heard this thrown around a lot and not sure if its needed to run lots of bots etc.

3. What are the most profitable bots, Sorc garden and which one specifically (link please) Also would I only need to buy it once and could I use it with as many accounts as I please?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could share their experiences with this type of botting, is botting lots of accounts illegal?

1 - I can't answer that, as I am not capable of doing so. I DO know that 1 sorc garden bot = 500MB of RAM, roughly. So with those standards, you could run a good bit of bots, as long as you don't run out of processing power/etc.

2 - I believe you are referring to a VPS, which people get when they want to bot a lot of accounts at once, or their computer can't handle it.

3. Sorceress Garden has been going way downhill lately, wouldn't recommend it currently. Puro Puro is a great money maker, but it has high requirements such as 91 hunter. LRC mining is good I've heard, as is runecrafting. I'm not familiar with LRC or RC botting though.

Getting that hunter level could be a concern if I want to do it on multiple, if anyone else knows of different methods such as LRC or RC as mentioned above please clarify.

Well on my 4GB Quad duel processer, I can run about 15. but my GFX card is a boss. Id say you can run about 25.

Thanks, and which bot/script do you suggest for gp making? I'm willing to pay for authentication codes, could I use the same code to bot multiple accounts or would I need one per though?

1. Depends what else you are running. Though I reckon you can run at least 8 bots.

2. You must mean VPS. I would describe it as a server that runs bots for you (you operate it)>

3. Sorc garden is the most popular one, and I heard there are a lot of wannabe mods trying to ban most of the botters. Though I reckon it is safe to bot, simply because there are soo many botters there anyway!

I get my bots from www.rsbots.net. One of the best sites imo.

 

I might just do Sorc garden then, any clue how much gp I can make per hour per account?

your problem will not be ram needed it will be montly upkeep starting cost of membership and auth codes

and how strong your net connection is

you should first test it with 1-2 accounts befor going all out

 

I've profited enough to cover the initial investment, my question is if I need 1 auth code per account or if I only have to buy one.

Other than membership/internet/auth are there other costs? Also does it use up a lot of internet? I'd have to find out if my internet is capped or if I have unlimited pretty sure its unlimited though.

 

I'm calling some serious bullshit, lol. I have:

6GB DDR3 1600 RAM
AMD Athlon II X4 620, OC'd to 3.7GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1024M GDDR5

And struggle to run around 10. That's under perfect circumstances as well.

I don't have much to offer in terms of suggestions other than do NOT buy AutoSorcGardenPro. The GP/h rates have dropped to 100-150k/h at most, because so many people are botting SG. The rate will only continue to drop as more and more people start botting it. Also, you can use one auth per computer. It's not technically allowed by the distributors but there's no way they can tell. Just open another client and start up another bot.

 

Am I fine botting with my IP address or would you have to use a proxy or something with bots etc.

If I do opt for a VPS any idea on the cost of it?


Also since Sorc garden bot sounds pretty nerfed now with all the users any suggestions? The Puro Puro bot would require 91 hunt which is too much work, any clue how much profit that is per hr? Might bot 1-2 accounts to 91 and try that.

Herb prices just dipped so sorc isn't as profitable. Auth codes are only supposed to be used one per account but I've heard people using one code per many accounts. I think as long as you don't change ips your fine.

You're breaking the TOS by botting but I've never heard of someone going to jail for botting.

I have a good computer, 8GB of RAM, and with RSBuddy I have run 8 bots at the same time, flawlessly.
I wouldn't recommend going over that.

It's basically a Private Server you can bot on, so you don't have to waste your computer's RAM and stuff, so you can use your Internet to the fullest.
[ Only worth it if you're a hardcore gold farmer, with like 12 bots running. ]

Also, botting a lot of accounts can't get you in trouble with the law.
It violates Jagex's TOS, but nothing else.
