How to get around a blocked website at school/work!

You may be at school, or at work and your company/ school has blocked your favorite website to go to! Its not the end of the world! Heres a guide that will help you get around those pesky blocked sites!

The main way i find to get around a blocked site at school is to use a proxy site. Some schools or workplaces have blocked many different proxy sites, but the best website i know gives a large list of proxy servers. That website is http://www.tech-faq.com/proxy. There is a couple thousand proxy servers on that website so im sure one of them will work. All you have to do to start using Facebook, or YouTube at school or work is click one and click where is says to enter the website you are trying to go to. After that click go and you should be surfing the best scot free of any blocked websites! If that one doesn't work, then click back and try again out of the many, many different proxy servers there are!

maybe use tor? I always just used my own computer at school, wasn't much I couldn't do..

 

TOR is Really slow. I take Florida Virtual school, and my school's router blocked many websites, I tried to use TOR, but it would take up to 10 mins just to load youtube or facebook.

 

xDD try a new connection >.< I've never had any issues with tor. Works about the same speed as any other proxy/proxy-chain

I used to use a program called UltraSurf. Basically all you have to do is download it to a pen drive or your documents, run the program and you can access basically anything. You can download it from www.ultrareach.com .

Even tho the lecturers and computer repair guys in the college knew about it and banned us from using it, they were unable to block it for months. I suggest giving it a try.
