Why are upgrades so expensive after free trade?

Before free trade they were $3 which comes out to 3m.

Now they are 10m avg which is like $8-9. Jagex sells paypal membership for $7.50

You are no longer saving an extra 4-5 by purchasing off of sythe.

Yeah basically the method the major pin sellers used to get pins no longer works, so people buy membership legit and sell it for rsgp to turn a slight profit.

Actually, each credit card or Paypal account is limited to 5 upgrades. Most of the ones sold on Sythe are the 30 day cards from Target or 7-11, which are $7.99 each. It's handy for people who don't have a car but are willing to pay GP. Considering that using GP as currency generally gets the rate $.80/m, 10m is a fair price.

    Simple supply vs demand

Supply is less , but the demand is even greater now.

I'm a upgrade seller myself, nowadays I pay through SIM-Cards I'm limited to 4 upgrades per SIM-Card per day, and 20 per SIM-Card per month. For every SIM-Card you can also pay through Surf pin, however you can only do this 3 times per SIM-Card, for ever. I've got around 10 SIM-Cards to use currently, expanding this week.

What the person above me said, the demand is greater then the supply now. I think 10M is a fair price, I eventually see them go for 12M-15M. There are still people selling for 5M-7M, however I can guarantee you that your safe buying from me. And thats probably the point that people are willing to pay a little extra for a safe trade, not to mention that those who sell for 5-7m are very limited in pins, in most of the cases.

What im saying is if its 10m each or 15m then its cheaper for the buyers to just buy directly off of the runescape website.
