Interesting. In the article a bunch of points are made, and I have to agree.

Rebecca didn't write the sing, ark did. They made her choose between that and some adult love song, and she didn't sing it because she wasn't comfortable singing about it because she didn't feel qualified.

Nowadays, it's more about the tune than it is about the lyrics, so she can go far if Simon invests in her.

Anyone can sing with auto tune. I hate that those with no talent grow big and successful because they have the funding behind them, when there are plenty of hugely talented artists out there that don't receive enough recognition.

Her mum also paid $2000 for the production of the song, I don't think she really deserves the amount of fame she's getting, but she's getting it nonetheless.

If someone like Simon Cowell jumps on the whole bandwagon, he'll be able to groom her into a superstar, everything he touches seems to turn to gold.

Yep. I mean, she isn't the worst singer, but if she was with simon, he could pay for her lessons and stuff, make her much better.

I feel really bad for her. Sure, I am not a fan of the song myself, but to write hateful comments, hoping for her death is simply cruel.

I feel this whole 'Rebecca Black' thing is a bandwagon type thing. People are only writing hurtful comments because 'Hey..look what everyone else is doing'

Try listening to her without any auto tune -

    She isn't so bad.
I agree completely. I feel bad for her :\...people really need to lay off.

It is unfair if Simon Cowell takes her in, simply because she doesn't have any talent. Those out there are much better than her, and deserves a chance.

The mum paid $2000? I mean, what was the thinking behind that.

There are better singers than Miley Cyrus too. It is about who is lucky, and who is not. Plus Rebecca Black went through a lot of ridicule to accomplish wherever she is now. I definitely would not say this is unfair.

Well it is getting her pretty damn far..Profit? Yes.

You can tell she hates her life from that video. The faces she makes are just full of disgust over what she's doing
