Runescape Economy Declining Abrutdly.

JaGex usually has a plan hidden up their sleeves, hope they play the card soon.

 

Runescape is dead when botters start complaining about bots.

Your precious fish have gone down in price? Rocktails are still 2K each and very active.
Just because thereis inflation, doesn't mean the economy is declining, in fact the economy is every day more active.
Economy declining would be you working like an ass for 8 hours and being able to buy 100 sharks and a dragon scimitar right?
Well guess what there is a lot of gp (as you say) and sharks are merely 500gp so you are getting a lot for your work 1K sharks a whip full rune etc.

Tell me exactly why changes in prices are a decline in economy?

It seems you're implying my GP stock is low. This is not the issue at hand, I have no problems with GP. Sharks, and the other examples I have given were.. Examples. The economy IS declining. Yes in every economy prices flucuate, this is also, not the issue. I'm going to give you a real life situation in hope you can understand. I'll break it down to a elementary level for you.

( Fact: Every country's reserve money is in either gold or USD, the U.S. Dollar was the most important and powerful monetary figure since the end of World War II. )

Gold per ounce has risen well over 600% since 2000.

Why does this matter? The price of gold represents the value of the dollar, the higher it goes up the less the USD is worth. Gold has skyrocketed because the dollar is becoming worth less and less.

Now let's turn to runescape.

Let's say RSGP = the U.S. Dollar, and Rares and high priced items = Gold.

As the value of RSGP lessens, the price of Rare items and high priced items increase, and will continue to do so until the economy has a fix.

Small items in Runescape such as the items I listed in my first post are just miniscule to broad range of items that the RS-Economy is devaluating, including RSGP itself.

JaGex must stop " MASS Botting "

 

I say that the MAIN problem is the huge goldfarmers... I mean I used to bot Sorceress Garden on 2 account and there was roughly 6-10 people per world, now a days there are roughly 40-60 botters in EVERY WORLD!!!

 

Yes, and growing to unimaginable rates.

 

srry dudes i hate to burst your bubbles but me and a bud working on getting 100 bots set up by 2 months. you say its gold farming tht lowers prices i say its not. i say it the gliches pl come up with to scam rs for bills in a day and stakers i did the math it would take 1k accs botting to earn 2.4bil in a day and like wat 3 accs or less staking and like 1 glich gf not the farmer its the nubs tht glich rs then sell there bils and somewhat stakes


EDIT: there are 160k players on rs right now and if 50% of those bot per day thats only 192B made a day? compared to gliches that can make like 5b per player tht does it...

and thts saying half of rs bots 24/7? not likely?

 

Stakings not the problem... Staking doesn't bring money into the game, it just distributes it between players. The problem is BOTH botters and glitchers. Both of these bring money into the game, decreasing the real world value of GP. Glitches bring large amounts of money into the game quickly, but only occur rarely. Botter bring modest amounts of money into the game, but are consistently running. They are both equally bringing in money to the game, and will continue to get worse. It seems almost anyone can bot now, yet I remember years ago when players didn't even know what a bot was.

 

good point but idk why ppl say golds at .5 when its at like .8-.85 pm just bc dtusted ppl buy for tht dont mean you have to use trusted ppl i saw lots of offers for .85 pm just find a way besides pp like wu player auction, google checkout, money paks, and more also a way to fix the dang gp prices is if you can get for low dont buy for mid price at least

 

Excess GP = Lowering of prices.

 

Gold is not .80-.85/m on average. It's true average is like .70/m.

The exchange rate for GP will never go up. The rate was higher before because it was much harder and time consuming to transfer GP. Now, everybody who wants to sell GP can do so instantly. If they banned every botter in the game, there would still be stakers, PvPers, lurers, etc. gaining mass amounts of GP.

 

Gaining GP from other players is different than CREATING gp/bringing it into the game.
