Directing traffic to blog/website

Hiya.

Any advice for directing traffic to my blog? I have not been blogging for too long, but an audience for my work seems like a neat idea.

My advice would be to make your site as appealing and exciting as you can whether you try to post more interesting events. Essentially try as hard as you can to make people want to return. Advertising on Google and local forums can be a good way to spread the word.
