    drop trade

    Scammer's profile link:
    Injure

    Amount scammed:
    500m OSRS / $106 Zelle

Discord ID + Unique Discord ID:
    injure_gp / 842121175412506635
    injure_gp.owner / 721201205744762903

    Proof that it's their Discord:

    Explanation of the trade:
I opened a buy ticket to purchase 500M OSRS gold for $106 USD via Zelle.

In the ticket, I requested the trade method as "high-level PvP." This is a service Injure offers, where they enter the wilderness, and the customer kills them to safely transfer the gold.

After sending the payment, Injure asked for my combat level, and I replied that I’m a maxed main. Shortly after, we agreed on the world and location, which in this case was the Edgeville lever. The worker asked if the area was clear, and I confirmed it was. When Injure teleported in, he attempted to attack me but realized his combat level was too low because he was only level 74. Without informing me, he ran about 10 tiles north. Unfortunately, he was attacked by a player killer (PKer) and died with the gold.

When the owner of Injure came online, he offered me half of the gold purchased (250M). However, I believe this incident was due to the negligence of the worker. At no point was I informed that we needed to move north because of the combat level difference. I specifically requested a high-level PvP trade since I’m on a max main.

I understand that using this method carries some risk, but there was a lack of clear communication. If the worker had told me the trade couldn’t be done at the lever due to his lower combat level and that we needed to move north towards the spider web, I would have ensured the area was clear to keep both of us safe. Given that I had already informed him I was on a max main, we could have done the trade at the Mage Bank or another location where we wouldn't need to roam into dangerous territory. I’ve spent over $1,000 on gold and services from Injure based on my rank in his Discord server, and this is the first time I’ve encountered an issue. In all previous PvP trades, we completed them at the lever without needing to move.

Out of frustration, I accused the worker of setting me up and intentionally dying, but that was said in the heat of the moment. While I still find the situation suspicious, after more thought, I believe it was due to the worker's neglect and carelessness in running deeper into the wilderness without communicating with me either via Discord or in-game chat.

    How they scammed:
The worker carelessly ran 10+ tiles deeper into the wilderness without communicating. He should have teleported out and instructed me to clear the area further before continuing. He should have had me go in first.
There was no communication from the worker that his combat level was too low to attack me, even though I told him I was a max main and had requested a high-level PvP trade, not a mid-level one.

    drop trade

Hello, I advised @moosey to create the report to get the situation resolved. We have always done business smoothly and I believe he is a good guy.

Everything he said is correct and he has posted the full chat logs of the ticket and our private chat which is fine and shows everything.

I would like to know what the next steps are... I assume it's in the same area as drop trades and delivering accounts with gold on them. We always tell the customers who decide to use this high-risk but more secure method to scout out and check the dangerous zone to make sure no one else is there. They would then notify us and we would swiftly and quickly die to them for the gold. We have done this over 500 times with much larger amounts and have had zero issues. I have also asked other gold shops if they use this method and what they think about this scenario and they deem it very odd.

I suppose it is incredibly bad luck that there was a pker there waiting but why did he hit a naked level 74 instead of @moosey who I assume had gear on him and was his combat level. How do I know it wasn't an alt account of @moosey or a friend / clan mate.

To not cut future business opportunities and to continue with a good relationship with @moosey I offered him 250m compensation on my end and to basically go halves on the loss... instead of one of us having to take 100% of the loss.

Below is an image of where our account could of been hit by @moosey

Thank you sythe moderators please let me know on how to act with this situation and I will gladly comply!

    drop trade

I discussed this with a staff member, The underlying issue here is this was trade in the wilderness and we can't prove if this was another user account or even if the gold was the account or anything related to the trade really, This is why we recommend user don't partake in these types of trades,
