Do You type without looking?

I don't know, lets see if I can pull it off since I usually don't pay attention when I type. This was typed without looking.

 

I pretty much can type without looking 99% even the symbols and everything. just learned it myself over the years lol
My keyboard is always under my desk but the only time I pull it out to look is for an F key

 

It's quite strange for me, when I have to copy a code or something I can never find the keys, and I also get the odd words wrong, for example "lol" occasionally comes out as ";p;".

I do generally type without looking though, I don't know how many words I can type per minute but copying out from a textbook for example is quite vigorous.

I do. It's relatively easy if your used to your keyboard. I just googled a wpm counter and im at 98 wpm without posture and stuff which i believe is easiest. You should do the same. In todays world, typing and computer knowledge is really important :\

 

You find it hard to type whilst looking once you've mastered not having to look, Just do some online typing tests when your bored and you'll soon get it, I average 70-80wpm just casually.

 

I type with out looking, i think it's just practice as I've used a computer for years now.

 

I always type without looking. Sometimes I will look, but I normally dont. I type about 100-110 wpm.

 

i started playing rs about 7 years ago and didnt even know how to chat with people, i thought it was a members only feature until somebody tried to talk to me.
Runescape taught me how to type. i get roughly 80 wpm with very few mistakes and dont have to ever look at my keys since ive been typing on the same laptop for about 3 years now.

 

I can type an essay without looking sometimes it scares me how i can be thinking of one think and without looking still typing.

 

sometimes i do it without noticing but most of the time no, im alot faster looking i think i would do at least 50 wpm at minimum

 

Lol just tested my speed got 55WPM ,when I type usually don't really look at the keyboard. Somtimes I do though.

I have typed without looking ever since my junior year in highschool. Only thing that helped me type faster, and without looking was posting a lot on forums, and going to freetypinggame.net

Edit: I went to www.freetypinggame.net and took the one minute typing test. This was my best score

I type without looking, I average 80-90 WPM. <- Business class in High School.

I can easily type without looking at the keyboard. It just comes with practice, for example now i'm looking at the screen, although you might slip on a key, you know where the backspace is. I'm a key-pro.

 

Same here. My laptop has extra buttons all the way down the left hand side of the keyboard, so if I go to press 'A' I will sometimes accidentally press one of those buttons, if I try to press 'D', I might press 'S' by accident. Extremely annoying:

That's because Americans are more addicted to technology. Computers, cars, etc. In terms of Laziness.

Normally in the dark so I can't really see the keys, and over the years i've learnt where the buttons are.
