The end of RuneScape.

If and when this comes, what do you think the cause will be?

 

i think it will just become outdated. the current players grow too old to play.

 

i guess it wont come since as old players grow new ones come thats like real life just because people are old doesnt mean its over

I personally don't see it happening for a long time, as long as Jagex is making profit I'm sure they will keep the game going and continue to advertise.

 

I think with two new MMO's (Stellar Dawn and that Transformers one) coming out soon, RS will become updated less frequently, but I don't see it's servers closing in the next ten years.

 

I highly doubt either of those games will ever be even close to RuneScape's popularity, not now, not ever.

I think the only possibility or RuneScape shutting down would be jagex deciding to it on their own terms, Or if something like an earth quake or hurricane destroyed jagex building and damaged the computers running the servers.

I know when the end of botting will be. Pretty god damn soon seeing as how ImpSoft is being sued by Jagex. - FAIL.

LOL botting. The new Jagex Games coming soon will have nothing on RS. and i'd expect rs to end when a new era of gaming comes around.. maybe like 3d technology or like new gaming systems? i dont know just a guess. otherwise, MMO's are a pretty much set.. people are hooked, i know i was LOL

I give it like 5 more years at the most
People are just going to get bored with it, better and funner games are going to come out to keep people occupied

 

I think Fagex will attempt to make it something that it shouldn't be (console MMO) and it will live to die from there.
