What is to stop me from...

Hello everyone,

My first post ive been lurking for a few weeks though, just checking the cheating scene again.

I played RS back when there was no summoning no slayer no farming and grand exchange. I quit because it was boring me.
Im back after getting bored of WoW.

Botting has obviously come a long way since when i started. I use to use scar for automining around 8-10 hours a day on my main. It was good and did the job but so blatently a bot.

Anyways, to my question(s?)
With these bots that people run 24/7 for months on end and with the implementation of VPS's (ah see ive been doing my research on this site ) what is to stop me from setting up 100 botting accounts on these servers, letting 'em run, and selling the billions of rsgp i make at the end of each month.
ive been crunching numbers quickly in my head before i fall asleep at night, and if my math is right, it would pay more than my current job, and i get paid well.
'Why isnt everyone doing this if its that easy then!?' i ask myself...
Am i overlooking something obvious?
I mean i've seen that guy r2plesent selling 120billion! and selling it all sucessfully! thats some decent money isnt it? he must have some sort of botting army going on ^_^

Also, question 2.
This grand exchange business... is that how people sell their botted goods? Or do people just trade face to face now? which ones easier and makes better rsgp.

Several gold seller's dont use bots they pay for gold from other people and sell it at a higher price. Servers can only run so many bots at one time also. Hope i helped.

Yea so i've read. What is it, the best servers can only run around 8 bots or so effectively.

So rent more servers.
Have 10 servers running 8 accounts on each.
Surely thats a viable business option to opt out of real work

edit: i think i just need someone to tell me im stupid for x, y and z reasons so i dont seriously consider trying this...

 

Servers are expensive IMO. That's why.

 

You'd need one hell of a VPS to run all these accounts. Plus what bots are you using. Honestly, it's gonna be pretty damn hard to go 24/7 a month if you're expecting not to get banned.
Whatever VPS you have, it better be good and reliable.
Also do what I do.
I bot 24/7 for three days or so. Stop my two accs bring the cash to a main acc, so if the botting accs get banned, I silil have the majority of the cash. Hope I helped.

 

The best servers can run over 20 bots. It costs a lot of money though, of course.

 

Yea man i thought all that through.
Have a mule every day or two to collect the goods and sell.
These botting accounts would be throw aways of course so if they get banned, so. I'll havemore in the making to back those ones up when that happens.

Yes i agree the money invested to get the venture off the ground would be high but soon enough you'd see some serious profit.
And there is always room for expansion. IE: if 80 botters are successful. Add more VPS's and increase gold intake.

 

Sorry for double post but im on a roll and i cant forget these questions because they are important.

correct me if im wrong but, can i buy 'infinite' vps's and host them on the same computer or does 1 vps only operate successfully per computer.

As far as ive picked up, vps's dont hinder MY comp performance at all... your pretty much just renting super computers to do the work while your computer is only used to login and check how your 'activities' are getting on

 

Exactly, start low, start with 10 accounts or so, ee if it works and you make profit, if so, buy more VPS's and have 20 accounts, then if successful profit, 50 accounts, so on.
Don't act like it's such a huge risk. Do it every 3 days or so. and you'll need about 10 mules unless you're selling cash as soon as you get it.

Answering your question above. You can buy multiple VPS's, but you want reliable ones. You can get multiple on the same computer, that doesn't matter cause it isn't using your computer, hence why you're paying them to host it and such.

If thats the case i just have to find time and testicals to sink money into?

i dont know much about vps' but my 12 bots take a lot of time for maintenance.

i can not imagine keeping 80 bots going 24/7

you would spend all your time rebooting, resetting and unrandoming ur bots

 

As long as your sure about what you're doing, and know how to do it. You're most likely fine.
Make sure you know the best way to make money. I myself do Sorc Garden.
Get 65 thieve and set them on herbs.

 

Blazin, That's why you get premium bots, that actually do randoms.
Most bots are fine just left alone. Running 80 is like running 10. Just adding more time setting up and making sure they don't get banned.

Nah i dont think i would because i dont have the business know how to do all that and it seems a huge hassle with huge risk.

what do you mean unrandoming? the bots do that for you dont they?

rebooting - what rebooting needs done?

resetting only needs done once every few days when the mules come to collect the profit

If good time management for small maintenence tweaks/resetting etc, then i dont see why this couldnt generate some serious cash. like im talking thousands a month. it all depends doesnt it the sky is the limit dont they say

they do not do some randoms. ( 1 or 2 )

dont give him such a simplistic view of botting. as far as i know, all bots have trouble with randoms sometimes.

 

the bots will be unresponsive sometimes. you need to check up on them every hour or so to see if they are

A. logged out
B. stuck at a random
C. not responding
D. script not found

i would not do this because runescape is so unstable. you are at the mercy of jagex and their updates.

it may go down further

Come on people i need problems that cant be over come.
All these problems can be solved pretty simply

not solving a few randoms is fine.
i take a hit with less rsgp but the sheer amount of bots working would make up for the difference.
sure a few bots get banned, power mine/theive back to victory.


edit: to the fella above. I understand the work that may be required to going into making these bots constantly 'work for their money' but with effective time management, dont you think that there is serious money sitting here?

All randoms are solved, only time a script will fail is if the bot needs updated, or is down. So in that case. You're wrong.
Gold is still going at $1/m, look at any legit sellers.
Sure some may be at .95/m. But same thing, yes?

 

first off, it is rsbots.net

second, the bots fail randoms ALL THE TIME.
go look at the forums on that site and u will see.

go look at the gold selling forum, legit sellers are selling for .70 cents per mil in some cases.
