Relaunch of User Education

Well thank you for the kind words. Perhaps some day in the future someone will step up and do the same. (Perhaps that person already has stepped up!? *Looks at fishy*) Times change, you never know what could happen tomorrow. Let's just hope for the best and start planning for the future.

User Education seems like a very unique idea that I haven't seen implemented on any another message boards. The idea is grand and if implemented correctly, could go very far. How many years has it been running?

I like 'Contributor' as posted above without the 'kb' in front of it. Contributors show that they're there to help the community by providing quality content and helpful posts. It's used across a multitude of websites, and is proven to work.

I believe the guide requirement itself should be removed in full. Before it was destroyed so many years ago, this was in the works. We were going to start adding user educators that held a great SFA thread, people who were prompt to reply with lengthy, helpful posts, and overall good charactered individuals. The guides themselves were going to be removed, and the section was to be a sort of 'intelligence' gathering. Which, I still promote that idea and would be the first to take part in it! .

If you start implementing ideas, I also recommend removing 'Head User Educators', and making the rank about as important as a $5 donator. You could run different levels of contributors, if you wanted, as you do with donators... because their helpful/insightful posts will help Sythe's SEO, which in turn brings new members.

I dunno, I'm tired, a full rant is impossible at the moment. My main point is... good show Finn. You have your hands full with a dead section, but your passion is probably what it needs. If you can turn it around, I may show interest again .
