Limited number of memberships?

Hey there, I'm currently having a strange issue and I'm hoping someone can help me get it fixed.

On saturday I added membership to five accounts via paypal and everything went smooth with no problems at all. Tonight, I was planning on adding five more memberships, and the first one went fine, but then I ran into problems...

When trying to add any of the four accounts I have left, I get the following error after accepting payment:

"Unfortunately, your payment was not completed successfully. Please try again shortly. For more information, please contact PayPal.

If you are experiencing a persistent problem relating to payments, please contact us. "

I called paypal and they said the problem is not on their end. Has anyone had this come up before? I feel a little weird contacted Jagex as it may bring a bit of unwanted attention to my six bots that are currently running

Are you using a credit card / paypal / debit card? I believe this is happening because the money source is funding too many accounts for membership.

 

I'm using paypal for all these accounts, so I guess there may be a limit of six accounts per funding source?

 

That would make sense because i know sms has a limited amount of memberships too.

 

I had the same problem the other day when attempting to upgrade my one and only member account.

It's just a random error. I had someone else upgrade it for me through their service, and it was all good.

 

I made a run over to gamestop for 4 memberships cards and my bots are all good to go! Thanks for the help guys

 

I remember there being a limit for sms upgrades. I think it was three accounts to one number or something along them lines.

There may be a restriction. I mean, one paypal to six accounts should be more than enough?
