yea if you bot for hours a day... but rid is good in that it bots without the use of a separate client, this makes people feel safer.

I couldn't get it working on my Windows 7 laptop so followed Darksoul's guide for minimizing it (using a VM).

I got everything installed etc. following his ridiculously amazing guide but for some reason when I actually run the bot (powerminer) it won't start working.

Then you're obviously mistaken, look at the shitload of proggies and co-signing by the 'biggest names' in cheating around this forum.

I saw so many big time cheaters post about RiD off-site about their ridiculously low ban rate (which is basically nil) and even some about suiciding yet not being banned.

Why don't you try it out for yourself first hand rather than try to just badmouth them without any facts on your end? They've got proggies and a decent member base, you have ... your doubt?

I dont say its a phishing site or just stealing your money, I tried all the the scripts. I just think that its way to expensive, not stable at all and allot of big words who yet have to been proven.

Purely because 20 people have been banned does not in any way mean the bot is detectable. The bot is undetectable regardless of whether or not you follow the guidelines and bot less than 8 hours a day or whatever. The people who were banned were botting unhumanlike lengths of time per day. 20 hours a day is impossible to do legit, and sharing accounts is against the rules. So anyone who works for jagex with half a brain can tell that if this kid is logging 20 hours a day every day, he's either botting or he's sharing accounts. BOTH OF WHICH ARE AGAINST THE RULES.

Botting one hour a day is unreasonable. The very fact you would try to strengthen your argument by saying that leads me to believe I'm wasting my time writing this, because most of it is going to be over your head.

The guidelines say 8 hours, not 5 hours. Don't throw bullshit numbers around and expect anyone to give any weight whatsoever to your argument.

And don't ask anyone to provide proof that RiD was interviewed by jagex. What the fuck do you expect him to do? Post his resume up on the forums? Don't you think that proving he was in fact interviewed by Jagex could lead to some undesirable consequences? Him protecting his identity is worth far more than your skeptical curiosity. And second of all, you just threw aside what Trent said about the ban rate with no proof whatsoever yourself. If you want proof, I will open up a poll on here and we'll see how RiD matches up against some of the other bots.

Don't come on here and try to tell anyone it's undetectable if you don't know what you're talking about.

I can't say enough about the quality of RiD's bots, but I can not justify their price (especially for a simple ivy cutter). That said, if you want to bot on an account that you just can not lose, use them because you won't get banned. For me, the trade off of price/ban rate isn't enough to justify any bot besides their MTA one, which is fantastic.

 

The only RiD bots I've used are the smither and the miner and they're honestly not very impressive. They may have a very low ban rate (the only reason I considered it), but if 20 people HAVE been banned using it then it's far from low considering the relatively low amount of users. Like someone else pointed out, practically any reflection bot could go undetected if following RiD guidelines and there's really little to no proof of anyone following those guidelines getting banned using a nexus script.

And to the person claiming that RiD bots "rarely (never)" glitch is completely retarded. I honestly don't believe whoever said that one of the few people banned only received it because he was suiciding 20 hours a day, just because I don't believe a RiD bot could go that long for even a day. It took me the better part of a year to use 150 smithing hours just because it gets stuck SO OFTEN.

Contrary to what most people think, I don't feel it's all that expensive. You really wouldn't need much more use out of a bot unless you're botting several accounts, which I don't.

 

My MTA bot has yet to glitch in runescape, it rarely (never) glitches. You probably haven't followed the guide for running the bot properly if you are getting stuck while smithing.

I have run other bots besides RiD (Nexus & Powerbot & ArbiBots/RSBuddy) and I always follow RiD's Guidelines while using those bots, and I often go under 5 hours a day, and guess how many account were banned over a period of 6 months? All of them.

The only time I've ever seen my bot have a bug in it is right when it's first released, when bugs are expected, and they are always fixed within a week. All my bots are flawless and will run the full time I set it to run.

Also EVERY user who was banned using RiD was proven to have severely broken the Guidelines, most of the time doing 18-24 hours a day for months. Also the 20 users is the amount that have been banned from August 2008 to the present, and considering there is around 55,000 registered users. I usually go thru about 200-250 hours a month, and that's following Guidelines, I own hours on all of the bots, and I have never seen them mess up, except occasionally after a large graphics update, which they are fixed within 24-48 hours on average, and instead of glitching out, they simply log out to avoid doing something wrong.

Indeed, they are not that expensive. 6-8 cents an hour isn't bad at all, which you can easily pay back with the profits from most of the bots. I own 2,207 hours of RiD's bots, and I have used around 1200 of them previously, and I still have 0 offenses, and the same goes for anyone else I see on the forums who bots regularly.

The only thing that intrigues me is the "views the screen" thing. Were they to make a free non-power miner, I might consider switching (depending on the quality of the bot), but I'm not going to even try a powerminer....

 

I love RID, I tend to sell RS accounts often and I'm simply blown away by their Pest Control bot

 

they make truly amazing bots, they really put a lot of time and personalization in every single aspect of them.

 

Wish they'd work on some more profitable bots, if they made an RC or Puro Puro one I'd definitely get on that
