Do player mods have known significant powers?

I'm a bit new to botting, this has never happened to me before...

I was alching at Soul Wars, and a player mod walked in. When I saw him I paused the script and started clicking myself, I only had 200 alchs left though... He started bragging and stuff saying all bots are going to get banned, I'm going to catch you all, this is the work Jagex does etc. then he walked out shortly after he opened his mouth.

Should I be scared? Because quite frankly, I am.

When mods report someone, the report goes to the top of the stack, plus they can mute people for 48 hours. That's pretty much it.

Have the ability to instantly mute anyone, and ban botters with in a certain time period.

Yeah, I said his name and ''lol'' a few times. I'm a bit scared because I became a little over-talkative to him, praising his armour and stats. I'll update as soon as I get banned or rolled... for now I'll just continue botting all or nothing.

They don't have the power to ban anybody for a certain time, only mute.

They can't ban, and their reports get ignored just as everyone else's.
    Don't worry about it.

Only good stuff they got is:

PMod room (which jagex updated, now the public know about it on website)
    48HR Mute
Forums where they can "suggest" a player moderator
Chat directly to available JMods in the Pmod Center on the website.

On the Pmod forums, Pmods have been suggesting to kick botters off of runescape if they are suspected to do so, but turned down by jagex as people can abuse this.

They do have the ability by informing "JMods" of botted account, not directly but can indirectly ban botters, my mistake.

Kicker botters off RS could be dangerous. What if a PMod could use this during a duel or fight.

As far as I know they can only do mutes, pmod HQ, and use special forum section.

They can only mute, and send in priority reports. They also have access to a secret Mod lounge in the rs forums.
So yea, they do have special powers considering they can stop you from talking.

    Don't be scared.

You should be fine. They most certainly have no ban powers.

As the above posts said they can only mute temporarily.

Also good thing you paused the script and started playing legit when he was there, if he did send in a report it takes a 60 second snapshot of your clicks.(Bot report obviously)
Good thing you paused it ;)

Well you talked to him so they have little proof you were botting. Doubt he'll report you considering you talked to him

Remember a few years back but really we didn't have any super powers that you could call "Oooooh". Could mute people that didn't folllow the rules like advertising or bypassing the swear filter but we cant ban only J Mods can. You are seriously in no way in trouble just keep doing what you are doing.
