    Unintentionally scammed, looking for guidance

Going to start this off by saying lured yah didn't do this intentionally and I don't hold anything against him, and would like to see this resolved in some way other than him winding up banned. I don't feel a ban is appropriate because he didn't directly cause this to happen by his own free will. However, I believe that he may have been dealing irresponsibly on PayPal which has led to this problem, so I do hold him responsible in the sense that I deserve compensation.

Yesterday, I received payments from a number of people in exchange for my RSGP. I made them use the purchase of goods option because of this very reason. In this thread, Giddy explains that using the "Gift" option is unsafe and is causing limitations and reversals such as this. Lured yah has been using the gift option to accept/receive payments, which has almost certainly lead to the current predicament.

^ My PayPal account has been permanantly limited with no chance of appealing it. I spent over an hour on the phone with support and talked to over 5 different people who all told me I was unable to appeal this and that it is never going to be removed. They also said that since I "pose a risk" to PayPal, they will not allow me to create another account.

^ Everything is explained in the picture.

I've chosen to post this here instead of the scammer report section because I want lured yah to be able to post his side of things, and also because the goal here isn't to get him banned. I just want compensation to cover my losses ($300+ at this point, not to mention I'm pretty much blacklisted from PayPal).

Also: the main goal of this thread is to get an official response from a mod on what we should do and who owes who what.

    The second image doesnt work,
anyways I've refunded 143M out of the 292M so far, I will put my turmoil pure for sale to be able to pay the rest off,
As for the money you spent on vps, I don't think I can be held responsible for that.
from the money I sent you you was planning to buy membership and shit, you can buy it from the 143M I gave you so far. I will do everything I can to refund the rest of the 292M as fast as possible.

Just as a rebuttal to the point that I could just as easily buy memberships with the mills.. yes this is possible, but it's a huge inconvenience. It doesn't solve the problem, if I buy it with mills I still wind up spending more more than I had intended to spend.

Just also want to add one thing. That whole "This limitation cannot be appealed" notice is bullshit. I had the same thing. Call paypal and try and request a rolling reserve. It will get your limitation removed and you'll be able to use your paypal again, the only downside is 20% of all incoming funds will be placed into a "reserve" for 180 days from date of receipt. On day 181, the funds will be released into your paypal.

Are you positive? I will try this later on.. but it seems odd they wouldn't mention it to me while I was on the phone with them.

Just tried this. Essentially what the guy told me is that the rolling reserve is meant for people who receive large volumes of payments to ensure that in the event of a chargeback they have money in reserve to cover their losses. According to him it wasn't meant to be a replacement for limitations.

I did ask him if there was any way even remotely possible that I could be unlimited by some other method and he told me that the limitation is permanant and there's nothing I can do to remove it.

lured yah should not be responsible for your VPS and Sorc garden auths. it's ridiculous how you expect him to be. Since his already refunded the gold and still has about half to go, you can use the rsgp/other means to purchase your membership.

All his responsible to refund is the stuff you had given him.

At least he's doing something about it, a lot of other people would offer a "no refunds" deal, but he's reimbursing what you lost and you can't expect him to be responsible for your personal purchases.

He can't be held responsible for you purchasing the vps'.

Most people sell membership for gp anyway, and he's given you gp back.
