    I've never ever had a weight issue, so I've no experience of how to lose weight however.

    Have you tried of getting a dog? I've got a dog and Probably 2 times a week I'll take it out for a run on the beach, spend probably 20-30 minutes walking there and about an hour just running and walking along it with my dog.
    I don't really count it as exercise because it's something I like and want to do. You could try this.

    But as you've said yourself, your problem is Fast food and lack of exercise, Gaining weight isn't about how much you eat usually, but how much you burn off. Unless you have a genetic problem, or a slow metabolism, cutting back on that fast food and increasing your exercise will remedy your problem.

    Eat a lot of eggs and NO DO NOT do crunches lmao..

    Your not even that "fat" your just big.. and big is good.. it looks like it suits you.. honestly nothing to be ashamed of at all. you could try going for a 10 minute jog say.. 3 times a week ( music will help.. dont forget your pod :p ) and eventually work it to 15 mins etc..
    If you workout you may lose some weight but a lot of it will turn into muscle and running would get rid of the gut ( which is good)

    if u read others posting about weight issues, ull see this post on their threads as well. note to mods: im NOT posting this over and over to get a higher count, i could care less about counts, im just making sure the right people see the right info. anyway...

    Well u have a few options here, and more if u have money to support urself. One of the best ways to slowly start losing weight is change ur diet...obviously this costs money so if u dont have a job or make enough to buy ur own food (ill assume u live at home) then it will be more difficult, but if u DO, id def start with a diet change. avoid carbs and excess sugars, anything with lots of preservatives in it, fast food, etc.

    another thing u can do, and this will help whether u eat healthy or not, is count calories. u can find sites online where u put ur height weight age sex and daily exercise and it will tell u how many calories to consume each day. from there u need to count EVERY calorie u put in ur body and make sure u dont go over what it says u should be eating. this may sound easy but its alot more work than ud think, however it will help

    yet another tip is eat often but in smaller amounts. eating 5 small meals a day verses 1-2 large ones will help stabilize ur metabolism which keeps ur body from going into panic mode and storing so much fat.

    DONT SKIP BREAKFAST...EVER

    excercise: 1st things 1st, its HARRDDDD to get urself up and actually doing it, but every day u force urself out of the computer chair and into some form of exercise, it gets easier and easier. i can understand the selfconcious (gg bad spelling)
    thing so id suggest jogging or even walking around ur neighborhood, and if even that bothers u try doing it later at night when less people are out and u can feel at ease

    hope some of this helps, most are methods i used when i needed to shed some weight

    You look just a bit bigger than my boyfriend. A simple change in diet (nothing too drastic) would change that in a few weeks! ;)

    But if you want to stay in shape try out weight watchers:
    (you might not even consider it but I have heard it really does work for a lot of people)

    I've got a simple solution for you, and it requires minimal work, and pretty good results given you follow it.

    First you need to do, is take what your eating, and eat just 3 meals a day, don't eat snacks inbetween.

    Once you have changed your diet up a little bit, start doing some cardio, for your size, I recommend either 200 jumping jacks a day, or you can do some walking, some running, not much, once you get tired, take a break.

    Drink water, try to replace any sodas, juices, or anything like that with water. Milk is ok, as long as you don't over drink it.

    Try to stay away from junk foods, an occasional burger here and there doesn't hurt, but try for the most part to only eat fast food or junk food as a reward for a solid week of good dieting and workout.

    Last not but least, be happy, your mood greatly affects your self esteem as well as your image.

    I think you could make a whole nother thread or just keep this one but you could start on a diet (even though personally i don't think you need one, but it makes people feel better) and excerise then you could post pictures on here because nothing makes weight loss easier than encouragement. No matter what you choose i definetly wish you luck!

    Hey man you really should try P90X it is hard, but it does wonders. Also get a few friends to run with you and lift with you, because support is a MUST in a situation like yours. AND NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT!

    If you've been large all your life, perhaps you have an underlying condition. Try asking your doctor for a blood test to check for thyroid problems.

    I suggest cutting (No, not the emo kind)

    Run like 3 times a week, and do some light working out after training. Build muscle + loose weight. You will be a stunner!

    If you want to lose weight, do cardio.

    I mean, weights you won't see a vast improvement anytime soon, so I reckon you should just watch what you eat and have a 30 minute jog everyday.
