    I remember some guy on the bus showing me his rooted android and I never got around to trying it for myself, my phone could def use more battery time and some speed wouldn't hurt.

    Thanks for the guide, I'm going to give it a try when I get home. :)

    You can't have both. When you make your phone really fast, it kills battery, but when you reduce the power being used, it saves battery.

    If you read even the first paragraph, you'll see that I used the word over clocking.

    When you root, an available feature is overclocking which is something that I stated inn my guide.

    Great guide! I think i am going to try this on my Droid Incredible. i was a little bit confused when you said
    if i do a permanent root i can never basically un-root my phone?

    Nope. I did the permanent root and I have the unroot option. I think the temporary root is just a root that will last on your phone for a short time before going back to normal, permanent is a root that will last until you unroot it yourself.

    That's my 2 cents.

    Great guide man. I remember the first time I rooted my Driod I had to go to a forum to ask users to help me out as I had no idea what I was doing. This most definitely is a well thought out and composed guide and will help any new users to the Android OS. Props to you.
