Must Read! Paypal Scam!

Okay guys, this scam has been around for quite some time but I see it being used ridiculous amount of times nowadays. In fact, I was scammed $300 myself and I figured i'd let you guys know.

For those that know, paypal sometimes puts a temporary hold on your payments. This is because they suspect a malicious activity and they want to confirm with the sender that they sent the money. So how can this be danger to you?

It's VERYYYY simple to get scammed. All the person has to do is log into paypal from his IP address. Logout, few mins later, log into his paypal account using a proxy (for this purpose say it originates in China). The person then sends you $500 payment for 500m rsgp. Paypal will see this and there will be red flags all over. A person could not have been present at his home (let's say it's US), and few mins later, send money from China. Now you've already given him 500m rsgp cos you got your payment. BUT here's the catch. Paypal will contact him and ask him if he sent the money. All he has to say is "no" and the money will be refunded to him. it does not matter if PP was verified, sent as a gift, with a note saying it's a item he already received. HE WILL WIN THE DISPUTE. I learned it the hard way.

So for all you guys, only accept paypal from trusted users. All the threads you see where newcomers are buying 200m+, this is it. they are trying to pull off this scam. Don't fall victim!!

Paypal really just is not the way to go and it sucks. I wish Moneybookers was a viable option to US

Thanks for the warning, although I would never use Paypal unless they are trusted in my eyes, like you stated above.

But when paypal contacts you they going to ask what happen to your account, you are going to be like what happen why u didnt authorize this payment. "Oh i got hacked" seems pretty stupid u cant just get "hacked" for an account...unless your dumb as fuck.
