I'd seriously just go with re-imaging your computer.

You should always back up a "safe-point" image on a secure drive external from your computer/network/internet.

Re-installing everything to your computer can take hours, but re-imaging a machine takes a max of 5 minutes. Think of it: installing every single program INCLUDING WINDOWS you had when you first set up your computer, and it only taking a max of 5 minutes.

I really don't know why only businesses do this. Some businesses even frown upon it. Idiots.

and you should have immediately plugged out your internet connection to the computer ( the only way he manages to control your screen )

and use another safe computer to change all passwords..

 

There's no "probably", you WERE RAT'd via your fault.

You either downloaded something stupid, or hit a java drive-by and accepted the applet.
