    Jagex actions on RWT?

I'm a gold seller here, recently I've transferred some rares over to a mule account to avoid my main account getting banned..

I used separate computers with different IP but somehow Jagex managed to trace it and sent me a warning email and message on my mule account only.

Anyone actually got banned doing this?

    Amount traded was around 200m+

    Just to share experiences! =D

"but somehow Jagex managed to trace it and sent me a warning email and message on my mule account only."

That wasn't jagex, it was a phishing attempt by someone to gain access to your account. If jagex want to take action against your account, they won't e-mail you, they'll just do it.

For your sake, I hope you didn't click the link in the e-mail/put your acct info into the website.

Regarding transferring/rwt, I've seen them in the past ban multiple accts for interacting with each other, though I think they're a lot more lenient now. And I haven't heard of anyone being banned since the return of free trade for rwt.

It is a phish attempt. It is really convincing but that what's it was meant to be. For your sake, don't enter your account info or click on the link. If JaGeX was to give you a warning, they would send it through their message system in-game. They NEVER email you.

If you don't take our word, go ahead and do as you wish by entering your account info and get robbed.

Oh thats why my mule account was in Lumbridge when I remember leaving it in Varrock GE

Those phishers only took 2m which was in my inventory...when they could have taken a party hat (which has since been sold off) .. left it in GE .. guess they did not check

[email protected] is a fake then I suppose

BTW, for those that are trying to start an argument.. no need to start a flame war as I am just posting an honest discussion? I'm wondering who is the one ACTUALLY trying to get their post count up... how ironic

    Lesson learnt..

But noone has been banned since free trade is back eh?

[email protected] I believe is real but these phishers used a method that covers their original email with the real one making it seem real.

To answer your second question, no. No one so far have been banned for RWT as JaGeX are much more lenient now.

I wasn't aware that they are able to cover their original e-mail..
Damn nothing is real nowadays, how evil people can be nowadays?

Thank you though for giving out information that is useful to me and others who were not aware about this before instead of wasting my time to read such as 'shortperson's replies.

I recieved that EXACT email.. Its a phish attempt.. I clicked on the link with no username and password logging in and it took me to the account appeal page and told me my offense was removed...

Even if Jagex DID email you (which they NEVER will), it would at least have your runescape name.

Ya, only the messaging system when you log in will be correspondance from Jagex. Jagex has said many times that they will not e-mail you. Nice catch guys on the phishing attempt.

Just don't ever login through a link send to you by ''Jagex'' And you'll be okay.
No matter how real it may look.
