Try to find somewhere near a stream
I've been to SD and they have MANY wild animals roaming all over the place, due to all the national parks.

Yes, as of now, Washington looks to be the best place, and I know where to setup camp guys (Near a moving source of water or large lake, but not too close incase it floods, and a flat ground). Fog horn is ruled out, it will bring unwanted attention. Although, to keep wild animals away, I plan on digging a "moat" type thing around my campsite which will keep them away, and in the morning when im awake, it will make an easy meal :).

Im not bringing a fucking fleshlight, be a man and use your hand....

Thanks for the responses so far, still open for more

Washington is a beautiful place; however, it rains pretty often, which would probably be a drag if you were living outside.

Try to look up the "banana belt" or the "rainshadow effect" and live there. It's basically a place where it doesn't rain as much because the clouds get trapped on the mountains and can't pass until they get lighter (loose all they're water).

Also, I've lived in Oklahoma (live in Wa currently). I can tell you that nothing about it is something you will enjoy. It is way to damn hot, lots of mosquitos, all in all a horrible horrible place to live outdoors. The people in the city (Tulsa and OKC) are nice though.

^ You can get Winter tents/snow tents.

This is a pretty epic thing , I'd suggest a Camera and spare batteries to plot this adventure and post here when your back!
I'd also read up on the local laws on the place I.E. Fire bans , and wild life protection type things. You can just go chopping Shit down without knowing if its a protected tree etc.
